About This Pub
Ah, the Old Oak Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper community hub in Glasgow, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks really rave about the food; it's all those comforting pub grub favourites done right, with plenty of options that keep the kids happy too. The service stands out as a real highlight – staff are attentive and friendly, making sure everyone feels looked after, which is just lovely for a relaxed get-together. That beer garden is a winner for sunnier days, being dog-friendly and all, and with sports on the telly and events like live music, there's always something going on to liven up the evening. On the flip side, it's a shame the beer selection doesn't have more variety; it's fine for a pint of Tennent's, but if you're after something a bit more adventurous, you might find it lacking. Overall, it's a solid spot that does the basics brilliantly and has that warm, inviting feel, but keeping an eye on those opening hours could save any surprises. I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a great time.

Lovely place we went for quick bite and service was excellent, food was fab and they went extra mile with chatting to our little one and providing colouring in paper and crayons. Will definitely be back and also recommend to others.
Very good menu with plenty of food options, great for kids and families. We were with a table of 12 and the service was fantastic. Gracie was amazing, such a sweetheart and very attentive. Highly recommend
A brief visit as wanted to see how successful the most recent refurbishment had been. Premises are bright and airy with plenty of well spaced seating inside and outside the pub. Venue also benefits from having a beer garden. Large screens for watching sporting events. Lovely pint of tennent's for under a fiver. Would have been a five, but the floor and table were a bit sticky. Wouldn't prevent me from returning to try the food.
Food has never let down, always amazing. Very friendly staff, happy to help. Lovely establishment
Friendly pub. Looks smart after recent refurbishment. Would recommend for good, hearty pub grub. The mixed pakora starter is excellent. I'd have liked to see more draft beer options, like an IPA or other ales.
