About This Pub
Ah, let me tell you about The Bull Inn in Clifton-upon-Dunsmore – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a second home, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is a real highlight; folks rave about the Sunday roasts, saying they're some of the best they've had, with generous portions and piping hot servings that hit the spot after a long walk or a family day out. The service is another winner – staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, whether you're calling ahead for a table or just dropping in, and it's lovely to see it's so accommodating for dogs and groups alike. They've got a great vibe with all sorts of events on offer, like quizzes and live music, which really bring the community together and give it that lively edge without being overwhelming. On the downside, the opening hours are a tad restricted on Mondays through Thursdays, starting at 4 PM, so if you're an early riser looking for a midday tipple, you might have to plan around that. And, with it being popular, it can fill up quickly, especially for events, so giving them a ring or booking online is probably a smart move. All in all, it's a solid spot for a relaxed chat over a pint or a bite, and I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll likely have a grand time.

Myself and my family had a great Father’s Day with a delicious dinner and the service was amazing. First time I’ve ever been there and it definitely will not be the last. The young lady who looked after us from the minute we walked in to when we left was absolutely brilliant. One enjoyable afternoon I will never forget. Thank you all at the Bull.❤️
A brilliant pub with great food and lots of events to keep people coming in. Live music inside and outside with bbq when weather allows, great quiz Monday nights, regular classic car shows, open mic music sessions are just a few of the events! Come along and support this great local pub!
First time at The Bill having arrived on a canal boat a short walk away. We were greeted on arrival and made to feel so welcome. The menu was explained to us and we quickly ordered. The food arrived in no time and was just excellent. Honestly one of the best Sunday dinners we’ve had in a long while. Definitely recommend
On arrival we were made very welcome and taken to our table. The service was incredibly quick! The food came out quickly and was piping hot. There was a good choice of Sunday roasts and was offered small, standard or large portions which we thought an excellent idea. Our dog was also welcome. Would definitely visit again if we find ourselves in the area.
Booked by telephone for Sunday Lunch and received a friendly welcome, very accommodating ( you can book on line )
We were running late due to traffic and I was told the chef would stay on in order to serve us which was very helpful.
We ordered the small Sunday roast and a standard Sunday roast ( see photo ) which was more than enough. The atmosphere was warm and cosy with a log fire where we sat
They are also dog friendly 🐶
