About This Pub
Ah, The Bridge Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem, you know? From what I've gathered chatting about it, folks absolutely rave about the cosy atmosphere and how the staff go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, which really makes for a great night out. The food's a winner too; those fresh pizzas are simple but spot-on, and at reasonable prices, it's perfect for a casual bite without breaking the bank. Plus, being dog-friendly and slap bang next to the canal, it's brilliant for a walk followed by a relaxing drink in the outdoor area – ideal for a sunny afternoon. They've got entertainment nailed as well, with quizzes, karaoke, and live music keeping things lively, especially on Saturdays. On the flip side, the opening times do look a bit confusing from the info out there, so you might want to confirm before heading over to avoid any disappointment. And without a website, it's not straightforward to check what's on or the menu, which is a small shame in this digital age. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a pint and a chat – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area; it's got that authentic pub charm that makes you want to come back for more.

Cons
-
The opening hours can seem a bit muddled from what's listed, so it might be worth double-checking to avoid any surprises.

Without an official website, it's not the easiest to get the latest updates or menu details online, which could be a minor hassle.
-
As a smaller local spot, it might get a tad cosy on busier evenings, so if you're after more space, it could feel a bit tight.

Good atmosphere and prices, food good and simple hits the spot. And independent as well..
Only around the corner from us, not saying it's my local, but do like a couple of scoops in here, plus can take my dogs in, right next to canal so perfect for ramblers, outside area too. Apparently they have karaoke too, which is good for me,
recently changed hands, and all seems very good, love the decor in the open area, nicely broken up, will be frequented more as I love to support local businesses in Adlington.
John & Diane are such lovely people. John makes the best, freshly baked pizzas 🍕 😋
There is live entertainment most Saturdays.
Local friendly staff. Drinks are good price.
Dog friendly pub & beer garden.
Great local, excellent pizza and reasonable prices. Saturday night entertainment is always high quality. Staff are lovely and all the locals are really friendly to talk to. Thursday night quizzes highly recommended, very challenging and fun. Decent pool table and darts board. Toilets are always very clean. They always make a great effort to decorate for special occasions too!
Lovely little pub. Nice staff, four ale pumps on. Had a nice pint of landlord. Sit out in the beer garden in the sun next to the canal. Hope to be back.
