About This Pub
Ah, The Brewery Tap – what a lovely little find in Lymm! It's this charming, family-owned spot attached to a micro brewery, where they really pride themselves on crafting high-quality, traditional North West real ales with nothing but natural ingredients. From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a warm atmosphere, friendly faces behind the bar, and even a few complimentary nibbles to go with your pint, which always feels like a thoughtful gesture. It's spacious too, with room inside and out, and being dog-friendly makes it ideal for a relaxed afternoon with mates or the family pooch. They've got live music on weekends, which adds to the fun but can make it a tad lively and crowded if you're after something more subdued – midweek is probably your best bet for a quieter catch-up. On the flip side, it's a shame they don't offer any food, so you might need to plan ahead and bring something along or grab a bite nearby. All in all, it's an affordable gem for beer enthusiasts, and with such glowing feedback from folks who've enjoyed the brews and the banter, I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone in the area looking for an authentic pub experience.

It's spacious with plenty of tables inside and out, and you might catch some live music on weekends for a lively vibe.
-
Prices are inexpensive, making it a great spot for a casual get-together without spending a fortune.
Cons
-
They don't serve any food, so you'll have to bring your own or pop in elsewhere first, which can be a bit of a downside if you're after a full meal.
-
It can get quite busy and noisy on weekends with live acts, so if you're looking for a quiet chat, midweek might be better.
-
The opening hours for the brewery side are limited to weekdays, which means the pub might not always feel as buzzing as you'd hope outside peak times.

Great find in Lymn. Tap room serving their beers on hand pump and a range of other regulars on keg.
Offered nibbles with our order, but otherwise the pub serves no food. We noted others brought food in with them.
Friendly service, plenty of room, dog friendly.
A regular stop on the Lymm pub crawl.
A good selection of beers, most of which are different to your regular chain pubs and a friendly group of bar staff.
Quite often have a live group on the weekend so can be a bit busy and loud. Midweek tends to be a bit quieter but still a nice atmosphere.
Often a fire going in the wood burning stove
Brilliant pub. Fantastic beer. Great and friendly people. Shame I overdid things with the beer lol.
Lovely warm log fire to welcome you in. A selection of locally brewed beers all reasonably priced. Good place for meeting up, large open space and plenty of tables and chairs inside and out. Good choice of 70s rock music when we were there, also complimentary olive 🫒 and pretzels a nice touch 👏
Traditional beers and cask ales ,along with 5 lager and cider pumps,as well as a good selection of gins, with a variety of tonics to choose from, and a choice of bottled and soft drinks as well as a coffee machine for your designated drivers. A.ward pork pies and snacks (nut free)- some are complimentary . Helpful cheerful staff, clean and friendly environment, with a wide variety of both indoor and outdoor seating, offers throughout the week such as wine Wednesday's and midweek loyalty cards. The pub itself has a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Dog friendly, dogs are welcome in all parts of the pub, with a water bowl and treats available behind the bar. Log burner lit on cold months and air conditioning when it's hot. Some ales are on rotation so there is always something new to try. Also, second and last Thursdays of the month there is an open mic night where anyone can come and sing, in addition to great music played throughout the day.
