About This Pub
Ah, The Boot Inn – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Soulbury, you know? From the reviews I've had a look at, it's clear the team there are real stars, with staff like Gemma, Laura, and Oli getting heaps of praise for being super attentive and making sure your visit goes without a hitch, whether it's a quick drink or a full meal. The food sounds delicious too, with folks raving about the portions and value, and it's spot on for everything from casual bites to celebrating occasions like birthdays or even a Christmas Day feast. That cozy, relaxed vibe really shines through, making it a brilliant place to pop in for a pint and a chat with mates. With an overall rating of 4.4 from a fair few reviews, it's no surprise it's a go-to spot. But, fair play, it's not perfect – if you're with a big group, you might feel a tad forgotten in a corner with slower service, and those stairs up to the toilets could be a bit of a bother for anyone who's not up for climbing. Still, on the whole, it's a solid choice for a good night out, and I'd say it's well worth checking out if you're in the area.

The toilets being upstairs might be a minor hassle for some, particularly if you're not keen on the stairs or it's a bit of a trek.

We come to the boot for a last minute Sunday lunch with a group of 8 of us. We were seated and drinks ordered swiftly and then Gemma ensured that we got our food orders in quickly before a larger table arrived so that there wasn’t a long wait for us. We had a lovely meal and all the staff were very attentive, especially Gemma who ensured that we had everything we needed. Fantastic food, great atmosphere & outstanding service. Highly recommend, look forward to returning.
I cannot fault this lovely village pub for its food, drink and service. Evie, Laura and Olivia in particular are complete superstars and work incredibly hard to make the service received outstanding.
It has been our go-to place for Christmas Day, Mothers Day and any other day in between!
The menu is varied and delicious. The Sunday roasts alone keep us coming back for more.
Ample parking, and lovely outside area with bar make this place a joy to visit.
Dropped into The Boot Inn with my daughter for a quick drink and a snack after work, and we were genuinely impressed. This charming pub strikes a perfect balance between cozy and lively, with a relaxed vibe that immediately makes you feel welcome.
What really stood out, though, was the service. Olivia and Laura were absolute stars – friendly, attentive, and effortlessly professional. They made us feel like regulars, even though it was a spontaneous visit. Nothing was too much trouble, and they added such a warm, personal touch to the whole experience.
The drinks were perfectly poured, the snacks hit the spot, and the atmosphere was exactly what we needed to wind down after a busy day.
A big thank you to Olivia and Laura for making our visit so enjoyable – we’ll definitely be back!
Many thanks to all the team for the amazing job you did hosting our double baptism party. The garden was great for the event, the team worked really hard and food was great! Thanks All! be back soon x
A lovely historic pub with a quirky split level interior. The food portions offer great value for money however as we dined as a large group, we were sat in the boot room and felt a little out of sight, out of mind with no offer of more drinks and slow service. Toilets are situated upstairs so a bit tricky with a toddler but otherwise very welcoming of children and great kids menu.
