The Board Inn Bridlington

Oh, what a delightful little find The Board Inn is – it's got that special something that sets it apart from your average pub. I love how they've kept the Georgian rooms upstairs so beautifully furnished; it's like stepping back in time while still enjoying a cold pint downstairs. The staff are absolute stars, always greeting you with a warm welcome and even letting you wander around, which is just lovely. The drinks are well-priced, and the food like those cheeseboards comes in at a steal, tasting fresh and satisfying. It's a brilliant spot for a cosy evening by the fire, chatting away with mates over some quality cask ales. On the flip side, it's a shame it's not fully dog-friendly indoors, so if you're with your pet, you might have to settle for the garden. And the opening times can be a tad unclear, so planning ahead is a good idea. All in all, it's a place I'd happily recommend for anyone wanting a bit of character and good company without breaking the bank – just go with an open mind and you'll have a cracking time!
