We had Christmas day dinner here (2023). And must say first time we have done it as a family of 9, but got to say wasn't disappointed. The greating on arrival was warm and welcoming. The service from start to finish was professional with a bit of humour and friendly. The food was hot and plentiful, and fresh. None of us left underwhelmed. So a massive thank you and well done!! Keep up the hard work..

I booked this from home knowing nothing about it. Said it was for our Golden wedding anniversary.
Lovely welcome. We were congratulated on our anniversary. Prawn cocktail starter, sea bass for me, sirloin steak for hubby. I had a dessert but was too full to enjoy it properly. We treated ourselves to a lovely bottle of wine too.
Staff are lovely friendly and welcoming. Time between courses too. Will definitely return.
This is a little gem. We arrived as a party of 4 looking for food. We were asked to come back in 30 minutes, which we did. The host was warm and friendly. Very welcoming, as were the other staff. The food arrived piping hit and was lush. Good wine too. Can highly recommend.
This place, from our point of view at least, is truly unique. With echoes of times gone by, the food and staff were meticulous in their attention, the food tasty, wholesome. Certainly not nouvelle cuisine.
It's a bit like being stuck in an 80s time warp complete with prawn cocktails and melon balls, however the food is good quality, well prepared and pleasantly delivered. I would go again but deliberately with our friends who enjoy a traditional experience. The decor is also untouched in a generation - fascinating toilets..
