About This Pub
You know, chatting about The Blackwood Arms, it's one of those pubs that just feels like a breath of fresh air, tucked away in the lovely Burnham Beeches area. I love how they've got this great mix of traditional pub grub and specials that always seem to impress, whether it's a hearty roast or something from the drinks menu – and the value's spot on for a casual night out. The team there are an absolute delight, always up for a friendly word, which makes the whole experience feel personal and welcoming. That said, it's not all perfect; I've heard a few grumbles about the odd dish not quite living up to expectations, like undercooked sides, so it might depend on the day. Still, for anyone after a proper British pub escape with good company and a scenic backdrop, it's definitely worth seeking out – just pop in and see for yourself, you might end up making it your regular spot!

Absolutely amazing food, service & hospitality! Parked the camper up and wandered across - warm welcome, super friendly and exceptional value for money. Highly recommended - a true gem of a find, will definitely be a returning customer.
Our first visit tonight, for the Wednesday night steak deal. The food was delicious and the staff were amazing. Emily looked after us, was very friendly and even the owners (Sean & Ness) and Chef came to the table to introduce themselves and check we were happy. We had a great experience and so we've booked in again for Sunday, to enjoy a roast dinner. The heated marquee and garden look great for warmer evenings and sunnier days. Highly recommended !
Lovely cosy pub, with a nice warm fire, lovely staff and proper tasty pub food. Service was quick, and the chef came over to ask how our meal was which was really nice.
Came here for a pub lunch recently and had the pie of the day which was steak and kidney pudding. I thought the meal was good but not exceptional. The veggies were completely underdone and the pudding was average
Came here on a recommendation from a friend. The pub is tucked out of the way, so it could be hard to find.
We came here on a Sunday, and there were lots of choices on the menu. You have the normal roasts as well as other options.
The service was really quick, especially considering it was busy.
I had the nut roast, and it was probably the nicest one I've had. It was moist and full of flavour as well as a good-sized portion.
Then, he had a delicious rhubarb crumble for dessert.
