The Beehive in Eltham

Ah, The Beehive – it's one of those neighbourhood pubs that really grows on you once you step inside. From what I've gathered from the reviews, the staff are top-notch, always up for a chat and making everyone feel welcome, which is just what you want on a cosy evening out. The building itself is a real gem, kept nice and tidy, and with reasonable prices, it's easy to see why folks keep coming back. They've got entertainment lined up on weekends, like a DJ to liven things up, and that car park out back is a bonus if you're driving over. On the flip side, it's a pity they don't do food themselves – you might have to pop elsewhere for a bite – and if you're a real ale enthusiast, you could be out of luck with the options on offer. Plus, there are a few niggles, like the toilets needing a fix or the bar team not always being as attentive as they could be. Overall, it's a solid 4 out of 5 spot that does the basics well, but with a bit of polishing, it could be even better.
