About This Pub
Ah, The Park Tavern – it's one of those hidden gems in Eltham that just feels like a proper old-school London pub, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the friendly staff who go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome, whether you're popping in for a quick pint or settling in with a group. The beer selection is top-notch, with plenty of choices that keep things interesting without overwhelming you, and it's all at prices that won't break the bank. That garden at the back is a real highlight; imagine sipping on a cold one in this lush, award-winning oasis, especially on a sunny day – it's just the ticket for unwinding after a wander around the area. On the flip side, though, some of the seating can be a bit on the uncomfortable side, like those eclectic chairs that might have you shifting about after a while, and the whole retro vibe might not click for everyone if you're after something a bit more contemporary. Still, if you're after a place to have a proper chat without the noise of screens or crowds, it's spot on. Overall, it's got that comforting, sociable feel that makes you want to come back, and with such glowing feedback from visitors, I'd say it's well worth a try for anyone in the mood for a genuine pub experience.

Great place. Lovely staff, good beer selection and nice people
What a great pub. We were a big group of cyclists visiting the pub for the first time. 100% thumbs up from us all. The food was great, served in the lovely garden & the staff couldn’t do enough to make us welcome. Definitely recommend the Park Tavern if you’re in Eltham.
We were so happy with lunch here. The high street was looking rather a disappointment for a
late lunch option after an Eltham Palace visit. The Park Tavern was a lovely surprise, really friendly staff a relaxing garden and a very reasonably priced menu and a great price for the house wine.Rounded off a perfect sunny day thank you.
This pub is great, great choice of beers and cider. Staff very friendly and polite. Other customers are friendly and the place is nice and clean as are the toilets which are checked regularly. This is how you run a pub. Excellent.
A really cute historic pub located in the centre of Eltham, just off of the High Street. The decor is retro, as befits a building of this vintage. The chairs were those rather eclectic and often uncomfortable selection.
We didn't eat.
The toilets were clean.
