About This Pub
Ah, The Anglesea Arms – what a gem of a spot in London! From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, it's got this inviting vibe that's just right for unwinding over a meal. The food really steals the show; think mouthwatering Sunday roasts that are fresh and hearty, or Italian-inspired dishes like burrata with figs that pair beautifully with a crisp glass of wine. The team there are absolute stars, greeting you with genuine warmth and keeping things running smoothly without being over the top. It's clear from the chatter that it's a place where you can relax and enjoy yourself, whether you're popping in for a quick bite or settling in for the afternoon. On the flip side, it seems like the odd dish might benefit from a bit more tweaking, like that risotto needing an extra pinch of something to elevate it fully. All in all, if you're after a solid pub experience with great grub and friendly faces, this one's worth seeking out – just keep an eye on those busy Sundays when it might get a tad lively.

Very well impressed overall. We were greeted very courteously and welcoming. Tried the Sunday roast which was amazing, my wife tried the sea bream which was very fresh and delicious.
Service was always on top of our needs and with a nice smiling and relaxed attitude. Atmosphere was very nice and clean.
Will definitely come back again
Fantastic relaxed Sunday lunch - staff were amazing, great menu of Italian dishes plus Sunday roast.
Burratta with figs salad with Sauvignon Blanc perfectly hit the spot on a sunny day, plus the fir potatoes.
Will forever be thinking about the Sunday roast. Honestly wish I could have tried more food but I can only eat so much. Very accommodating with allergies.
Had such a great dinner here! The food is absolutely delicious and portions are generous. Their Caesar salad is probably one of the best I have had! Burrata dish was delicious as well! You could really taste how fresh everything was. The mushroom risotto was creamy and earthy, although it did need some salt. The sticky toffee pudding incredible- it tasted light and not too sweet, perfectly balanced!
Great wine selection too. I will absolutely be back
Outstanding! From start to finish this was such a great experience. I didn’t have a booking I was in the area and hungry. Saxon and Ellie greeted me and were so accommodating. I was recommended a very good Portuguese white wine to accompany my excellent food, and was looked after throughout my dining experience. I cannot thank the team at the Anglesea Arms enough. 100% I will return, hospitality at its best, well done guys.
