About This Pub
Ah, the Prince of Wales Townhouse – it's one of those places that just hits the spot for a good night out or a relaxing stay in London. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are an absolute delight; they're knowledgeable about their craft beers and go out of their way to make you feel welcome, whether you're popping in for a drink or settling in for the evening. The live sports screenings add a real buzz, and paired with a solid food menu that's fresh and full of flavour, it's easy to see why folks rave about it. If you're thinking of staying over, the rooms are comfy and clean, though they might be a bit compact if you're used to more room to spread out. On the flip side, it does get packed during peak times, so you might find yourself jostling for space, and the prices can add up if you're not careful. All in all, it's a gem for anyone after a proper pub experience with a touch of class – I'd say it's well worth a visit if you're in the area, just keep an eye on the crowds and your budget for a balanced outing.
Pros and Cons

-
The atmosphere is so welcoming and lively, perfect for catching live sports like football or rugby on the telly while enjoying a pint.
-
The food menu is a real treat, offering fresh, seasonal dishes that's great for sharing, from light bites to hearty mains, and it's all ethically sourced.

-

Cons
-
The rooms can be a tad on the small side, which might not suit everyone if you're after more space during your stay.
-
It can get quite busy, especially during big sports events or weekends, so you might have to wait for a table or a room.
-
With prices on the moderate side, it might feel a bit pricey for a quick pint or casual meal compared to some other local spots.

A fantastic beer selection with passionate and knowledgeable bar staff.
Visited as part of a wedding party and the service was excellent. Well done.
I had a lovely stay here! The staff were incredibly welcoming and kind, which made all the difference. The room was very comfortable and spotless — I slept so well. There’s a cozy pub downstairs with a nice outdoor seating area, perfect for relaxing. And the location is just great — close to everything I needed. Would definitely come back!
Oh my, we have never received such a warm welcome as this when checking in before. Clyde was really jolly and enthusiastic. Nothing too much trouble. Our room was small but perfect, clean and comfortable. The location was amazing, with good links. Sunday lunch was superb. The outdoor seating area allowed us to soak up some sunshine. Relaxed pub atmosphere. We would highly recommend staying at this place and would stay here again
Wow, just wow. We are staying here in November so, as we are in the area today, decided to check it out! From the moment you walk in you are welcomed by friendly and knowledgeable staff. Excellent selection of ales and a food menu to die for. Here's the question though what is that food like? Well superb doesn't cover it, but I will have to go with that, it really is that good. Ideal place before a gig at Hammersmith Apollo and can't wait to stay later in the year. We will certainly use this place every time when visiting the area again. Massive thumbs up from me 👍👍👍👍 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I recently had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Prince of Wales Townhouse! From the beginning I was warmly welcomed by Klyde and the entire staff (Kayla, Nick, Will, and more!) as if I were a local. I had been traveling Europe for 4 months at this point and their kindness made me feel right at home! The rooms were cozy, clean, and comfortable. The food and drinks were top notch!! Even when I had to work virtually, I loved hanging out in the pub with a game on and a pint.
During my stay they even had a big blowout party with DJs which was absolutely awesome! The manager kindly warned me ahead of time when I checked in that it would be loud that evening and what to expect from the party plans which I really appreciated! It ended on time so sleep was no issue and ready to explore London the next morning. My only complaint is that I couldn't stay longer!! But I will definitely be back to this wonderful place that gave me so many wonderful memories and was the first to welcome me to London!
