Lily served us and she was very professional, she greeted us as soon as we arrived and asked if we would like drinks, and she checked on us all evening with perfect timing. It was my son’s 16th birthday and she made sure the experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Thank you Lily for a great experience 🤩🤩
When we first started to visit this establishment we thought the food was good. Howe er of late we feel the standard of food has gone down and we do not frequent this place as much.

The food was great. We were sat inside the bar area next to the kitchen. Unfortunately there were two young males sat next to our table who were vaping. It appeared they knew a member of staff so maybe thought they could get away with it. On one occasion another member of staff did challenge them which they did stop for a short time before they continued. Found this uncomfortable and not what I wanted while eating my food.
Came for New Year’s Day meal there was 12 of us. We were served by Izzy who is a credit to the Birch Tree team and couldn’t do enough for us. All staff are lovely and very friendly and food was enjoyed by us all. Thankyou very much we will be back and definitely recommend to others. Special thanks to Izzy for waiting on us and looking after us whilst we were there.
Came here again today... Diane (Landlady) was very accommodating to my visit and very understanding when I had to rearrange last Friday... A lovely lady 🙂
The Birch Trees has Very friendly staff...
As people who read my reviews know hygiene is top of my list in any eatery and this place was right up there !!
The kitchen staff and cleaning staff at the birch tree have really kept this place spotless.
I've seen much newer kitchens that didn't have this level of cleanliness.
The food was beautifully presented.
The bar and toilet area were also spotlessly clean as you can see from the photos.
This place gets a big thumbs up from me..
