The team there, especially the likes of Stacy, are just so helpful and professional; they'll bend over backwards to accommodate you, whether it's for a christening party or just dropping off decorations the night before. The drinks menu is spot on with plenty of choices for all tastes, and the prices won't break the bank, paired with some decent hot food to keep things going. It's dog-friendly too, which is always a plus for us who like to bring the furry friends along, and the modern setup with TVs and music makes it a fun place for watching the match or enjoying a social event. On the flip side, though, the function room does feel a tad compact, so if you're thinking of hosting something with a larger crowd, you might want to look elsewhere to avoid it getting too squished. Overall, it's a solid choice for a good night out, and I'd definitely pop in again for the warm atmosphere and reliable service – just keep an eye on those group sizes!

Attended this establishment for my daughter's friend's birthday party. Nice selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The function room itself was on the small side, so if you are looking to cater for a large group (above 30) I would consider somewhere else. Otherwise this is a very nice place. Sky sports TV is available.
We had our Christening party here. Lovely bar staff, the landlady Stacy is so kind, helpful and professional. Anything we asked for she tried her best to accommodate us. There were many music choices that we could play in the bar and also the outdoor building. We had access to all of the tv's which was handy. We had over 70 guests and there was enough seating for everyone both inside and in the outdoor building. We were allowed to come in the day before and decorate with the help of Stacy. She allowed us to keep the food safely in her cold room overnight. It is a clean, tidy and well kept venue. The toilet areas were well maintained and in great working order. There were many drink options and they were all served with spead and a friendly smile every time.
I highly recommend this venue for hire, you will not be disappointed!
We had our sons christening party there after the church yesterday. Stacy the landlady looked after us in the weeks in the run up. She made it so easy to go night before to drop food off, blow up balloons and do decoration, open up in the morning and set up. The day itself was PERFECT we had almost 100 guests and the day went off without a hitch. Massive thankyou from all of us.
I highly recommend this venue for an event mainly due to Stacy's amazing hospitality and her staff were brilliant also 👏🏼 👌🏼 and the cost was unreal.
Becky is absolutely lovely. The decor is beautiful. The atmosphere is friendly. All in all im impressed!
Social area and bar for both Chorley RUFC and Astley and Buckshaw FC, modern bar, dog friendly, reasonable prices and hot food (pies, nanchos etc). Nice friendly team, providing social events regularly. Well recommended!
