About This Pub
Ah, the Swan – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Wolverhampton, you know? From what I've gathered from the reviews and the vibe on their site, it's all about that classic British pub experience with a great range of real ales and drinks that hit the spot every time. The beer garden is a highlight; it's got heaters and a covered spot, so you can enjoy a pint outside without worrying about the weather turning. The staff come across as really friendly, and it's dog-friendly too, which makes it even more welcoming for those of us who like to bring our furry friends along. Plus, with affordable prices and events on offer, it's easy to see why folks keep coming back for a good old natter or a game of darts. But let's be straight, it's not without its downsides – it does get packed, so you might struggle to bag a seat, and they've had to cut back on some snacks due to allergen issues, which is a bit of a letdown if you're peckish. Oh, and the odd bit of wear and tear, like the carpet, shows it's not brand new, but that just adds to the charm for me. All in all, if you're after a solid, no-fuss pub for a pint and a laugh, I'd say give the Swan a go – it's got that heartwarming feel that makes you want to return.
Pros and Cons

-
It's got a lovely beer garden with heaters and a covered area, making it ideal for enjoying a pint outdoors when the weather plays along.
-
The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with friendly staff and cosy rooms that make you feel right at home, plus it's dog-friendly which is a real bonus.
-
Prices are spot on for a good night out – think inexpensive options like £2.70 for ales on certain days, so it's easy on the wallet.
-
They've got a great lineup of events and a traditional vibe that keeps things lively, whether you're up for a chat or a game of darts.
Cons
-
It can get pretty busy, especially at peak times, so you might have a tough time finding a seat and end up standing or waiting.
-
Some of the food options like pork pies and cobs aren't available anymore due to allergen concerns, which is a shame if you're after a quick bite.
-
Little things like the carpet could do with an update; it's not a deal-breaker, but it does show its age in places.
-
The pub was noted as currently closed in the info, so it's worth checking ahead to make sure it's open when you plan to pop in.

Great traditional pub, good ale. Very busy, you may struggle to find a seat. Worth trying though
Great old pub. Bitter is wonderful. £2.70 ales on Monday as at Nov 24. Pork pies and cobs no longer served due to Brewery concerns over allergens, but Spar next door.
A small traditional real ale pub. Always a good selection of draught beers served perfectly. The usual lagers, wines, and spirits also available. And bar snacks.
Friendly staff and several cosy rooms to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Plus a dart board in the back room.
Had 2 nice beers with my dog. Carpet could do with updating but overall it's a pub I love for a quick few pints.
A pub with two halves, the snug comfortable and cosy, the bar as it has been for years long wooden seats tiled floor awaiting clocking off time. Enjoyed both sides as our second visit we had dogs, who were welcomed with water bowl and treats on the bar. Beer good but sadly out of snacks on our visits. Well worth a visit.
