About This Pub
Ah, Stamps Bar – it's one of those hidden gems in Crosby that just draws you in with its cosy charm and top-quality brews. I've got to say, the real and craft ales are a real highlight; they're pouring some cracking pints, including their own brews that give you that authentic pub feel. The staff are absolute stars too, always cheerful and on point with service, even when the crowd's building up. And let's not forget the events – from live bands on Saturdays to that fun ukulele night on Tuesdays, it's a brilliant place to let your hair down and maybe even join in. Prices are spot on for what's on offer, so you won't feel short-changed. On the flip side, it's a small space, which means it can get a bit packed and overwhelming during peak times, making it tricky to find a quiet corner for a proper chat. Plus, if you're peckish, the food choices are slim, so it's best for those focused on drinks and atmosphere rather than a full meal. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening out, as long as you're up for the lively energy – I'd definitely pop in again for another pint and a laugh.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer selection is absolutely spot on, with a fantastic range of real and craft ales, including their own brews that really hit the mark.
-
The staff are so welcoming and efficient, always quick to serve even when the place is buzzing, which makes for a really pleasant visit.
-
It's got a lively vibe with regular live music, karaoke, and even a weekly ukulele night – perfect for those who fancy a singalong or just soaking up the local talent.
-
Prices are really reasonable, making it an easy choice for a casual night out without breaking the bank.
Cons
-
The space is on the small side, so it can feel a bit cramped when it's busy, especially during live events where you're rubbing shoulders with everyone.
-
Food options are pretty limited; it's mostly about the drinks, so if you're after a proper meal, you might need to head elsewhere.
-
With the live music and all, it can get quite noisy, which isn't ideal if you're just wanting a quiet catch-up with mates.

Great beer great atmosphere friendly staff best place for a pint in Crosby
Proper bar with happy selection of customers. Excellent range of drinks, especially draft/pump ales. Brilliant staff who are quick to serve even when absolutely chocka!! Only small but adds to atmosphere, especially when full as make new friends by literally rubbing shoulders with them. Usually have some weekend entertainment -live music or karaoke. Little gem and old favourite of Crosby village.
Went for a few drinks a lovely place did.nt have time to stay for karaoke but will go back when i csn
Lovely place, but having miked bands in such a small space means that it is not particularly welcoming if you just want a drink and to speak with friends.
The typical British pub, with lots of options for beers, mainly on draft, and others bottled up. Not many options for snacks or anything to eat really, and I asked for a cup of tea because I couldn't drink and they didn't seem to be able to provide that option on that afternoon. Apart from that super friendly staff
