Staff were fantastic. We only stopped in for a couple before we had to go to a wedding. Would have loved to stay as food looked fabulous.
Sitting here now and came here for my little bros 21st birthday and hands down the BEST pub for food iv ever been too. There's 12 of us here now all woth different meals. The portions sizes are more than generous and the guilty of the food and service are impeccable.
I will definitely be returning to try one of the other dishes.

Listen, I'll admit I'm vegan (yup one of those) when I saw the menu, I thought brilliant. There's a selection which is great. Dishes were about £14 or so, so when there's vegan Sausage or burger, you'd hope for that price it would be an alternative such as beyond burger, rather than a potato with a couple of pea patty.
I think if so, it's very, very overpriced as a vegan meal option.

A review which accounts for many years of coming here, and having exceptional service and food every single time. Not one member of staff isn’t friendly, and the food is amazing every time. Pictured is the beef roast, scampi, and the chocolate fudge cake.
Had lunch here midweek during half term. Lovely warm welcoming pub, friendly staff, prompt service. I ordered the bacon, Brie and cranberry panini which was very tasty.
Friend ordered tuna jacket potato which looked amazing! Big potato lots of filling.
Drinks were ordered and brought to table promptly.
Will visit again highly recommended
