About This Pub
Ah, the Rose of England – what a lovely little find in Nottingham! I've got to say, the new management has worked wonders here; it's like they've given the place a fresh coat of paint and a whole new spirit. The staff are an absolute delight, with people like Lauren going out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the drinks are spot on – affordable with a good range of premiums that won't break the bank. Those karaoke nights midweek and on weekends sound like a right laugh, drawing in a supportive crowd that really gets the party going. On the downside, I have to mention that the manager can seem a tad grumpy at times, which is a pity because it might throw off the otherwise cheerful vibe. Plus, there's no food to speak of just yet, so if you're planning a full evening out, you might want to grab a bite beforehand. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint or a singalong with mates, and I'd definitely pop back for more – just keep an eye on that manager fellow!

Great start to a new life for the pub! Nice staff ( Lauren was so lovely Sunday ) would be nice to hear some Rock and old school in the pub.
This place looks so much better now being reopened under new management. Great karaoke DJ’s every Wed, Thurs, Fri & Saturday. A vast range of premium drinks served by friendly staff. Definitely worth a visit.
Wow, this place has become an amazing new local for me. The new management have really turned this place around. Excellent prices for drinks. Well done keep it up guys. A+++
Saw online it had new ownership so popped in for a couple of drinks whilst I was at the Victoria Centre.
Was pleasantly surprised by the place. Got a warm welcome from the manager and all the staff were lovely.
Hoping they do food in the future as it’s a great little place just outside the hustle and bustle of the City Centre.
Definitely recommend it.
Went in for karaoke on a Saturday which was great! Supportive, eclectic crowd and fun friendly DJ host. Knocked a star off for the surly looking manager. We came in as a group, brought the house down and raised the vibe up, why are they angry about getting customers who partake in the offered activities? We had a weirdo man follow us into there from a different place but didn't feel comfortable asking the manager to help us talk to/eject them so left for somewhere else instead, sadly.
