About This Pub

Oh, I've got to say, Foremans Bar really stands out as one of those hidden gems in Nottingham that you'd want to share with your mates. What I love most is how the staff – think Charlie, Max, and the team – are just so approachable and make the place feel like a proper community hub, especially if you're into that punk, rock, or reggae scene. The music's always on point, creating this infectious energy that gets everyone involved, and it's got that multicultural feel where you can chat with all sorts of folks over a decent pint. On the flip side, it's a smaller venue, so the drink options are a tad limited, which might leave you wanting more choices if you're after something fancy. Still, for what it is, it's a brilliant spot to unwind, and I'd recommend popping in if you're in the area – just go with an open mind and you'll have a whale of a time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are absolutely brilliant and make you feel right at home, with folks like Charlie and Max going above and beyond to create a welcoming vibe
  • It's got a fantastic music scene, perfect for lovers of punk, rock, and reggae – you'll find yourself tapping your feet in no time
  • The atmosphere is warm and multicultural, drawing in a great mix of people for some proper good chats and a sense of community
  • The beer is spot on, and it's a cosy little spot that feels like a second home for locals and students alike
Cons
  • The drink selection is a bit limited, especially in a small space like this, so you might not find a huge variety to choose from
  • It can feel quite niche, so if alternative music isn't your thing, it might not be the most versatile spot for everyone

I've been in a few brilliant bars all over't shop, this is one of them, Staff were cracking, music carefully tending to, to the mix of customers. If truly alternative music is your thing, you haven't been to a Punk/Rock/Reggae bar until you've been to Foreman's....oh, and the beer is spot on too (Neck oil). We came to town for the Adam Ant gig, sadly postponed. Silver lining....we get to come back to Foreman's when Mr Ant is well again. 🐜 🎶 😁
