About This Pub
Ah, the Rose & Crown in Coventry – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a reliable old mate, you know? From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks are raving about the food; think juicy steaks, stacked burgers, and those mixed grills that hit the spot without breaking the bank. The staff often get a big thumbs up for being polite and efficient, which makes popping in for a pint or a family meal feel effortless. It's brilliant for watching the big games, like the Women's Euros or the Lions tour, with all the sporty amenities to keep things exciting. On the flip side, it's not all roses – a few have mentioned dodgy moments with the food, like fish and chips that were more disappointing than delightful, and the occasional grumpy server who doesn't quite match the welcoming vibe. Still, with an overall rating hovering around 4.2, it's clear this place gets more right than wrong, and I'd say it's worth a visit if you're after a laid-back spot for a catch-up, just keep an eye out for those off days. All in all, it's a solid choice for us pub goers looking for good value and a bit of community spirit.

Came here on a quiet Saturday afternoon with a group of friends for some drinks and food. Food was reasonably priced hot and tasty. Staff were lovely too would recommend
We love coming out with the family here, the staff are always helpful and friendly. The food is excellent and great value for money. Great atmosphere, in an well run establishment. Highly recommend ☺️
My favourite pub in Coventry!!! The food is amazing and they have the best price. I come here since I was 18 and am 31 now, lol. Best place ever. ❤️🤟🏽
There is not much to say than below average in everything. The fish and chips were just some unbattered, dry piece of protein. Sometimes, I thought I was eating chicken. The plate was half empty.
The pie was palatable. Let's leave it there.
Staff unwelcoming, unfriendly, and uncaring.
Just avoid the whole thing if you can

First visit here for food. I must give an honest review and I can only say EXCELLENT!. The staff were amazing, polite and courteous and very efficient! Our food was cooked perfectly and the portions were generous. The wait time was minimal(10 minutes) and well worth it. Our waitress was SO HELPFUL and made it an excellent experience. The ambience is a little tired but, dont let that deter you from this little gem. Highly recommended!
