Absolutely love this place. We've had so many great meals here from the regular menu and the many specials they do. The Sunday roast is amazing. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Almost everything was perfect, even most of the staff were really lovely and friendly. However the one older lady seemed to have a grump on. I somehow annoyed her by asking for water (I have an oesophagus condition and can't swallow food without drink to push it down so I need two pints) and I don't think being so easily and obviously annoyed is a good trait for a service position as much as I appreciate how annoying customers can be at times.

Called in for a drink on Easter Monday...service was warm and welcoming...beer was top notch and I must comment that the toilets and premises were spotless...well done Red Lion

What an amazing space to host a business event. The team are business minded themselves and their attention to detail is mind blowing. Great hosts, a wonderful private space and the best breakfast butties you could wish for…we’ll be lingering for lunch too next time. They were also very helpful with people’s allergies and food preferences. No one felt left out.

Burned cheese on the sourdough that the kitchen would have seen yet still served. Very poor start. Main was a nice burger ,dessert an ok sticky toffee pudding. Took forever to get a dessert menu ,ended up having to ask the barman. Overall not as good as the reviews say and we will not return.
