About This Pub
Ah, the Red Lion – it's one of those pubs that really knows how to make you feel part of the community, isn't it? From what I've gathered chatting about it, the staff are absolute gems; they're polite, kind, and always up for a laugh, which makes popping in for a bite or a drink feel like catching up with mates. The food's a real highlight too – think flame-grilled burgers, sizzling skillets, and fresh dishes that don't break the bank, plus they've got plenty for those wanting something lighter or meat-free. It's brilliant for families, with that spacious indoor play area meaning you can enjoy a meal without the kids getting restless. And they're proper involved in the local scene, supporting charities and all, which adds a nice touch. On the flip side, while most folks rave about it, the general buzz suggests there might be the odd slip-up – perhaps when it's heaving, things could slow down a tad, or the atmosphere might not always sparkle as much. Still, for a traditional pub with a bit of extra sizzle, it's worth a visit if you're in Warrington and after a relaxed spot for good food and company.

Great place to.bring the children. It has a big indoor play area and there is always a nice atmosphere here.
I've had many various dishes from here and so far , none have been bad.
Couldn't recommend this pub enough, the staff are incredible. They are kind and polite, the food it's always done to a high standard even on days when they are buzy. Me and my family went here for a recent birthday meal and the service was spectacular, the staff was kind and the food was impeccable. The fuzzy eds play area is also a great place to let the kids run free while waiting. A beautiful family friendly pub.
Parking was easy, menus readily accessible and had all the information we needed. Nothing beats a tradition fish and chips in my opinion, and the pub was no exception. Brilliant service from the lovely Sue on the bar as usual. Food arrived quickly, hot and tasted delicious. Would highly recommend for anyone after classic pub tea!
Love this place, here every week! Food is consistently great, always quick service and I love how they keep the prices down in todays economy 5 stars
Try fish & chips - unreal, fresh and crispy. Always well cooked. Or the curry house feast - get loads for your money!
Beautiful from start to finish. Love the staff here, and the food was absolutely stunning, great prices on the new menu too. I really recommend the garlic bread, it was so soft and flavourful!!
Thankyou for having us :-) xx
