About This Pub
Ah, the Red Cow – what a gem tucked away in Richmond! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just draws you in with its warm vibe and friendly faces behind the bar. The staff are an absolute delight, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, which really makes the whole experience feel like catching up with old mates. The food is a standout – their Thai and Cambodian dishes are packed with authentic flavours and have left quite a few folks raving about them as some of the best they've tried. Pair that with live music over the weekends and a cheeky quiz night, and you've got yourself a proper lively evening sorted. Oh, and if you're popping in for a stay, the rooms are nicely done up in a cosy country style, perfect for a quick getaway. But, let's be honest, it's not all roses – the rooms can get a tad noisy from the hustle outside or the pub action below, so if you're after a quiet kip, you might want to pack some earplugs. Still, with such a high rating from the crowd, it's clear this place knows how to deliver a good time, and I'd definitely recommend giving it a go for a balanced mix of great grub, drinks, and entertainment.

Me and my partner came for an overnight stay last Saturday, really friendly staff, nice room, well looked after, milk in the fridge which I should say a nice touch than just providing tea and coffee facilities. A very tasty Thai dish for supper, There was a live band but that stopped at 11am, it's a pub after all, a really good find, thanks very much Red Cow
Went to Red Cow Richmond on a sunny evening inMay 2025, great pub and my friends and family had food from their menu and said that Thai food was the beat they had ever had, ans they know their stuff regarding Thai food.
The manager is an absolute dream, a really nice guy and he runs the pub the way it should be , for the customers enjoyment, and you straight away feel as if you are in your own home but with new people to meet ! They laud in a band, free of charge who were really amazing and people were dancing and having a great time.
The clientel are relaxed and friendly and no hint of yobbish behaviour at all. The manager runs the pub hands on and is a great bloke whos personality makes the vibe, a great place for all ages, and types from the well healed of Richmond and Sheen to the basic working man or woman.
I would recommend this pub as a local and for special evenings.

Great little pub with a few rooms above. Nice rooms, a little noise from the pub below but nothing that bothered me and they closed at a reasonable time. Great food and friendly staff.
The bar doesn't open before noon so not possible to check in early or drop off luggage before this time.
Stumbled across this place on a Saturday evening when they had live music on (one bloke with a guitar) absolutely banging. Bar staff were efficient and friendly and the place had a great vibe. Will visit again.
We stayed in a room and also visited the pub. The rooms are cozy, but very noisy. The noise is from street traffic, but you can hear the other guests as well.
The pub was very enjoyable and the beers and food were excellent. There was also a gentleman playing guitar and singing who was pretty good. They have plenty of tvs so also a good place to watch a game.
The staff is great and very friendly.
