Tap Tavern in Surbiton

You know, when I think about Tap Tavern, it's one of those places that really stands out in Richmond for all the right reasons, especially if you're a beer fan like me. They've got this incredible selection of craft beers that feels like a treasure trove – I mean, it's hands down one of the best around, with options that could make any ale enthusiast's day. The staff are just lovely, always friendly and attentive, which really adds to that cosy, welcoming feel. Pair that with the great music and overall vibes, and you've got yourself a spot that's perfect for catching up with mates over a pint or two. Oh, and those half pints are such a smart touch, keeping things affordable so you can sample without overdoing it. But, to be fair, it's not all perfect – the food, like the burgers, hasn't impressed many, and it's probably best avoided if you're hungry. The wine selection is a bit limited and on the expensive side, so if that's your thing, you might want to look elsewhere. Still, for a solid pub experience focused on drinks and good company, I'd say it's well worth popping in; just manage your expectations on the grub side of things.
