About This Pub

Ah, Punch Hotel in Darwen – it's one of those classic pubs that just feels like a proper community spot, you know? From what I've seen, the staff are brilliant; they're so helpful and create this warm, inviting atmosphere that's just spot on for a casual get-together. There's loads of space with different rooms to choose from, and little extras like the jukebox and games room really add to the fun – it's great for a laugh with mates. Oh, and the car park makes it easy to swing by without any hassle, plus the pints are spot on, which is always a win. On the downside, though, the place does look a tad worn out and could use some updating to make it feel more modern – it's not falling apart, but you can tell it's been around a while. Service might drag if they're understaffed, and it seems like it doesn't always open as you'd hope, which could put a dampener on plans. All in all, if you're after a straightforward, friendly pub for a pint and some banter, it's worth checking out, but maybe keep in mind it won't be the flashiest spot in town.

We used the pub for an afternoon function. Staff were great, lovely, and helpful. The pub is large, with quite a few different rooms, all roomy with plenty of seating. Juke box and games room. Clean, warm and very friendly atmosphere. Own car park too.

Decent enough for a boozer. Service was a little slow, but this was down to only 1 staff member being on and there was a quiet a few in for a meeting.

This pub looks like a right dice from the outside but it has a small community that thrives within. The pub needs total refurbishment but if you can look past all that then you'll be sure to have a good night.

Closed to the public for beverage it seems, The good news is that they still broadcasting public WiFi which is strong signal from the seating outside in the garden/car park. Seat in the sun with a bit of partially intrusive WiFi. Bring your own beers and wines! 🍺🍷🍹, 💻+🔋 = 😎
