About This Pub
You know, when you step into Tiki Taps on Railway Road, it's got this charming, upbeat feel with great tunes pulling you right in, and the cocktails and burgers are absolute winners – I can see why so many are giving it high marks. It's a proper spot for unwinding with mates or marking a special occasion, and being dog-friendly just adds to that relaxed charm. But honestly, a few chats with others have highlighted some issues with the staff; they've come across as rude or aggressive at times, which is a real shame and could sour the experience. Plus, with just the one toilet and the need to order at the bar without much guidance on the menu, it might not be the smoothest for newcomers. All in all, it's worth popping by for the good vibes and grub, but keep in mind it has its rough edges, so go in expecting a mixed bag and you'll likely have a decent time.

Some of the bar staff can be rude, aggressive, and foul-mouthed, which really takes the shine off an otherwise enjoyable visit.
-
There's only one toilet, which could be a hassle if things get busy and you're waiting around.
-
You have to order food at the bar, and they don't always explain the menu properly, especially if it's your first time, leaving you a bit in the dark.
-
Reviews show a mixed bag with the occasional one-star feedback, suggesting inconsistency in service that might put some off.

Wow what a great little place this is.. .. as the music and artist that was on draws you in (Very good by the way).....you find the bar staff rude, aggressive, foul mouthed and just not nice really. As a place wow...but the little staff behind the bar
are awful, rude, very aggressive and inexperienced.....I defo think a training course is needed in manners, respect and customer relations as
the kind of attitude I witnessed to one customer was atrocious and will only follow that staff around.....wherever they go and whatever they do. Some people just aren't cut out for the service industry.
Still a good place to go though but don't trust the staff as they became attention seekers and not classy at all x
Staff at The Taps were very friendly. Good selection of cocktails and delicious burgers! Dog friendly as well!
Stayed here for our silver wedding anniversary. Lovely hotel with excellent views of Mellieha Bay.
Great food and drink and a friendly atmosphere.
Enjoyed our date night there. Cool little place, good selection of ales and cocktails. Menu is great and plenty of options and it tasted great. Have to order food at the bar and only one toilet and would have been good to have the menu explained as first time diners, otherwise would have been 5 stars and will definitely go again.
