About This Pub

You know, I recently popped into the Tattershall Castle, this charming pub right on the Thames, and it really hit the spot for a relaxed evening out. It's got these incredible views of the river and iconic landmarks like the London Eye and Big Ben, which make every visit feel a bit special. The food was a highlight – I tucked into a hearty grilled chicken sandwich that was full of flavour and just what I needed after a day of exploring. They've got a great selection of drinks too, and while the prices are typical for London, they're not outrageous for the location. The staff were mostly on point, getting things sorted quickly even on a lively Saturday, but I have to say, they weren't always the chattiest bunch, which felt a shame in such a welcoming spot. Oh, and it's on a boat, so there's a gentle sway when other boats go past – it's novel at first, but might not suit everyone if you're prone to feeling queasy. All in all, it's a fantastic place for catching up with mates or celebrating something, with comedy nights and outdoor areas adding to the buzz. I'd recommend giving it a go if you're nearby; it's got that mix of excitement and laid-back charm that makes for a memorable night.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The views are absolutely stunning, right on the Thames with sights of the London Eye and Big Ben – it's a real treat for the eyes while you sip your drink
  • The food and drinks are pretty spot on; think tasty options like grilled chicken sandwiches and fish and chips, and it's not too bad price-wise for central London
  • Staff are generally helpful and quick, especially when it's buzzing, making for a smooth visit
  • It's got a lively vibe with fun events like comedy nights and even a nightclub on board, plus outdoor seating for when the weather's nice
  • Perfect spot for gatherings, with characterful rooms and easy access near Westminster and Embankment tube stations
Cons
  • Service can be a tad gruff at times, which might put a slight dampener on things
  • The boat does sway a bit when other vessels pass by, so if you're not keen on a gentle rock, it could be off-putting
  • Prices are what you'd expect in London – like £20 for a pint and an Aperol Spritz – so it might feel a bit steep if you're watching the pennies

Fun restaurant on the Thames with a view of The London Eye. Westminster and Big Ben. I enjoyed a tasty and hearty grilled chicken sandwich. Service was ok. A bit gruff. There's seating downstairs in a covered area if it's cold or rainy outside.

This was a great little spot to grab a pint! You get to see a lot of the surrounding area including the Eye, Big Ben, and more! There is a little bit of movement when boats pass by so keep that in mind.

Came for a quick drink at this floating pub before boarding our City Cruise at Westminster Pier and really enjoyed it. A pint of beer and Aperol Spritz cost £20 so not bad for London prices. Service was pretty quick considering it was a busy Saturday evening and the security staff were friendly. Atmosphere was really buzzing with lots of happy drinkers and a DJ playing some cracking tunes to get people up dancing. There’s a cute little fish and chip booth to get food or a more extensive menu if you’re looking to dine. Prices looked to be very reasonable, again considering you’re in central London! Bathrooms were clean and there’s lots of seating (walk to the back of the boat if it’s busy and you should be able to find a seat near the Pimms Bar). There’s also a comedy venue on the boat so it’s well worth a visit if you’re in the area. We’d definitely return and would recommend to friends and family.

We had a friends meeting on this place. We had a lovely time, very helpful staff as well and affordable prices for a pub very next to the Thames. Would definitely come back!
