About This Pub
Ah, the Princess Louise – it's one of those pubs that just warms your heart the moment you step inside, with its beautiful Victorian vibes and intricate details that make you feel like you're in a bygone era. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks absolutely rave about the welcoming staff and the solid food and drink options; that fish and chips sounds like a winner, and the beers are kept in tip-top shape, perfect for settling in with mates after a long day. It's got this spacious feel upstairs that's great for groups, and those cocktail deals add a fun twist to the experience. On the downside, though, prices seem to have crept up a bit – I heard someone mention shelling out over eight quid for a pint, which isn't quite the bargain you might expect from a Sam Smith spot. Plus, it's a tad frustrating not seeing the prices upfront, as it can lead to a bit of a shock at the bar. All in all, it's a cracking place for a proper pub crawl or a relaxed catch-up, as long as you're prepared for the odd expense and can appreciate the charm over the costs.

one of my favourite pubs, the 1st time I have visited in a while.
I ordered the Pure Lager, a beer I'm fond of, and was staggered when I was charged £8.20.
Sam Smith pubs usually pride themselves on being value for money.
I'm not surprised there was no visible indication of draught beer prices.
At least Dick Turpin wore a mask!
Lovely find with a genuine old world charm. Friendly staff. Nice open and spacious dining area on the first floor. The food overall is very good with the fish and chips of high quality. Well worth a visit if you are in this part of town.
Wow, what can I say... defo nothing bad about this great old pub/restaurant, it's food or the staff.
After a successful day at a TV production show in Olympia we decided to dine at the Princess Louise in Holborn.
This brilliant venue never fails to deliver, even if it's just for a pint BUT don't just drink, go upstairs to the restaurant, bag a seat by a window and watch the world bustle by while you wait for your fab food.
Lakeisha, Chloe and Lily looked after us so well, considerately and professionally; nothing was too much effort. They were constantly looking after other diners too and, later, drinkers in the downstairs bars.
I really like this venue for it's charm, food, service, atmosphere and real ale... and if you're there when the window boxes are in bloom and lit by the sun, well, it's difficult to get up and leave.
Thank you ladies, just fantastic. You looked after us how it's meant to be done, you're true ambassadors for the hospitality industry and I'm thrilled to have met you all.
Will be back ASAP!!
A must. Just the architecture will give you a reason to visit this gem pub. Small private booths or a big hall, every corner is well-preserved. Bartenders are welcoming, fast to give you your favorite. They even have an all-day cocktail 241!!
What a wonderful pub! The Victorian's certainly knew what they were doing when they built this beautiful pub.
Even the toilets are remarkable!
I had a lovely pint of Samuel Smith's which was well kept and delicious.
Well worth a visit.
