About This Pub
You know, when I popped into the Premier Inn in West Bromwich, it felt like a reliable old friend – nothing flashy, but just what you need for a straightforward visit. The rooms are kept nice and tidy, with those comfy beds that make you feel right at home, and the staff are genuinely warm and eager to sort out any little issues. It's brilliantly placed for a quick hop on the Metro to Birmingham or Wolverhampton, which is ideal if you're keen on a bit of sightseeing without the hassle. On the brighter side, the free parking and family options add a nice touch for those travelling with kids or needing extra accessibility. But, let's be honest, it's not all perfect; the Wi-Fi tends to play up, which can be a nuisance these days, and without air con, it might get a bit warm on stickier evenings. The restaurant's alright for a quick bite, though it's nothing to write home about and apparently it's on the market, so options nearby could dwindle. All in all, it's a decent choice if you're after good value and convenience, but it might not wow you if you're after something more modern or exciting.

Cons
-
The Wi-Fi can be a bit unreliable, which is a shame if you need to stay online.

No air conditioning in the rooms, though they do provide a fan to help out.
-
The restaurant is just average and might not be around much longer, as it's up for sale.
-
The place is starting to look a tad tired, like it could do with a freshen-up.
-
Parking can get crowded with work vans, and there have been a few security niggles reported.

The place was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff were very pleasant. However, the Wi-Fi was not great!
Room could had air conditioning. But there was a big fan in the room. So that helped. Bed was comfortable. Could had been a bigger tv.
Food was OK.
Typical Premier Inn as you'd expect.
Clean room, and comfy bed.
Staff were helpful and pleasant enough.
Carpark was a reasonable size but taken up by lots of workmans vans. We saw one van's back windows were broken into.
Restaurant was average.
Most Premier Inns look at bit tired now.
It's your average Premier Inn, rooms with ensuite, WiFi, free parking and a restaurant on site. There is a McDonald's and KFC along with an Asda with a petrol station just round the corner. Handy for the tram into Birmingham city centre or Wolverhampton via Black Lake which has a small car park. Rooms clean, staff nice and helpful
I've been staying here for many years can not fault anything, staff both in the hotel and reception really friendly and helpful not any trouble.
The only down side the restaurant is up for sale if it doesn't sell nothing close by to get food, I'm told the hotel is due to have a breakfast room and an extra 23 rooms doesn't make sense to sell the restaurant!
