About This Pub

You know, when I think about the Premier Inn in Barrow-in-Furness, it really stands out as a solid option for anyone after a straightforward and pleasant visit. The staff are just lovely – always cheerful and ready to lend a hand, whether it's fixing a booking mix-up or offering tips on the local area. The rooms themselves are a treat; they're impeccably clean with all the little touches like a coffee machine and a mini-fridge that make things feel a bit more special, and everything's so quiet you can actually relax properly. Being right by the Walney Channel and close to some beautiful nature spots means you're well placed for a wander, and the breakfast has enough choices to set you up nicely for the day. On the downside, if you're veggie, the meal deals don't offer much variety for longer stays, so you might need to look elsewhere for dinner options. All things considered, it's a great little find if you're after good value and a hassle-free time, but just keep that meal thing in mind to avoid any disappointments.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and always go the extra mile to sort things out, making you feel right at home.
  • Rooms are spotlessly clean with brilliant amenities like coffee machines, mini-fridges, and comfy beds for a proper good night's kip.
  • It's in a cracking location by the Walney Channel, near the Dock Museum and some stunning nature reserves, perfect for a bit of exploring.
  • Breakfast offers a solid selection and the overall value for money is spot on – you get what you pay for and then some.
Cons
  • The meal options can be a bit limited for vegetarians, especially if you're staying more than one night, which might leave you wanting more variety.

Staff were friendly and helpful. The Premier Plus room was really nice. Everyrhing you need and spotless. During my stay the hotel was basically silent. Good selection at breakfast. All round good value for money.

Got a premier plus room, very nice spotlessly clean. Mini fridge ,coffee machine, ironing board and iron, etc. 2 chairs and a bench lots of storage. Would 100% recommend one of these rooms. Staff are fantastic nothing is to much trouble. The housekeeping team do a fabulous job very impressed 👏

A good hotel for me.Quiet, room cosy, all that I needed. I used The Meal Deal but not very good choice for a vegetarian if staying more than one night. Used Premier Inn many times,no complaints.

Had a great stay here. Lovely clean room with great facilities, and in a good location for the train station and town centre. Staff were really helpful after a booking mix up too.

We have stayed here quite a few times and it has always been very friendly, obliging and welcoming. We had an issue the last time we stayed and Allan sorted it out amicably for us so we are really pleased to say what a wonderful time we had and a very big thank you to Amy, Julie and Kerry. Thank you. Kevin & Irene Hallsworth
