I know it's a Bank holiday. My family and I went in for a meal the food was reasonable not great and when I mentioned that the music was to loud they said it was because of the football was on but that finished hours ago and they said they turned it down but you couldn't hear your self speaking and everyone trying to talk over the loud music was a bad experience for us won't be back in we were just looking for a nice place to sit and have a meal with my granddaughter the place was busy that should have been the Q to turn the music down and let people talk if you can call it music it was just thump thump so people are shouting over the so called music bad experience 😞
Very good live sports pub with great food and drinks selections Big and roomy which is just as well as it can, being a sports pub, get a bit noisy and rowdy. Club colours are thankfully not permitted which is a good decision. Pub sits on the site of the once wonderful art deco Rio Cinema right on the edge of Rutherglen mains st north end. There are some great food and drinks specials daily. One drawback, they don't do breakfasts before early 12.30pm kick off games.
On mothers day, I took my mum (without a reservation) at 2:30 in the afternoon for a small plate. While most of the tables were reserved, the restaurant was mostly empty, it would have been a very quick service for two people before the rush. I was refused.
Amazing high quality food with amazing deals where you can grab a real bargain drinks are priced fairly but the food menu is by far ever way much better than a much bigger better known name near bye.
