Just had my baby shower here in the smaller hall and it was just perfect! The price for all that was included in my package was amazing. The staff were so helpful and approachable. My guests were all so impressed with how the hall was presented and in general the atmosphere of the full place. Will 100% recommend for anyone to host a function here.
Had our sons 21st last night in the small hall. Can’t recommend enough. Great assistance with everything throughout . Lovely hall and the staff and DJ were amazing couldn’t do enough for all our guests . Connor and Alison who looked after us all night , thanks so much for your amazing customer service . Had my 40th birthday party here in June. It was a Christmas theme and the venue and staff were so accommodating and understanding with extra decorations and music requests! DJ was fab too. Great night had by all. Highly recommend!
My daughter’s 21st birthday party was held at this venue last night. 17/08/2024. I have to say it was an amazing night.
The venue itself in my opinion can not be beaten for price and value. The hall is perfect, great layout, big dance floor and also has a balcony for smokers.
The manager Steven was extremely helpful from the first contact 4 months before the event all the way through to the end of the event. Always available to answer any questions.
The Venue supplied the DJ and he was brilliant, he kept the party atmosphere going the entire night and the dance floor was always full with people enjoying his great choice of music.
As for the bar staff, we were lucky enough to have 2 lovely ladies taking care of us. Alison & Sophie they were outstanding, so professional as well as going above and beyond to make sure everyone had the best night possible. I can not compliment these ladies enough. If you are planning a celebration in the near future please do yourself a favour speak to Steven and book the Millcroft for your party. You will not regret it. If you are lucky enough you will have Alison & Sophie taking care of you and your guests.
I have gave the millcroft a rating of 5 stars on each section, however if I could I would give them a much higher rating.

It's alright for a local boozer.
2 function suites upstairs, 1 small and 1 larger.
Downstairs 1 fairly large lounge and 1 fairly large bar. Popular for karaoke 🎤 at the weekends and even more popular because there is a betting shop right next door.
There doesn't seem to be any permanent staff behind the bar in the lounge but there is a bell to summon staff through from the bar.
Prices are reasonable for the area considering there are plenty of other pubs in the vicinity...
