About This Pub

Ah, Park & Ride Cafe in Bridlington – it's one of those places that just feels like a breath of fresh sea air. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is where they truly shine; folks rave about the breakfasts and fresh-cooked dishes like fish and chips that leave you feeling satisfied without emptying your wallet. The team behind the counter are proper friendly, always up for a chat and bending over backwards to make sure everyone's sorted, whether you're rolling in with a wheelchair or a crowd in tow. It's got that relaxed atmosphere with options to sit inside or out, and they even have a licence for a cheeky drink, which adds a nice touch for unwinding. On the flip side, though, the queuing can be a bit of a muddle sometimes, and it's a shame there's no online presence to speak of, making it harder to get the lowdown before you head over. All in all, if you're after a straightforward, enjoyable meal without any fuss, this place is worth a visit – just go with the flow and you'll have a great time.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The food here is spot on – think fresh, tasty breakfasts and fish and chips that really hit the spot, all at prices that won't break the bank.
  • The staff are an absolute delight, always friendly and willing to go the extra mile, like sorting out space for a big group or making sure everyone's comfortable.
  • It's got a great vibe with both indoor and outdoor seating, plus they serve up a bit of alcohol, making it a nice spot to relax after a day out.
  • Accessibility is a plus; they're really accommodating for wheelchairs and larger parties, which makes it welcoming for all sorts of folk.
Cons
  • The queuing system can be a tad confusing at times, which might leave you scratching your head when you're trying to order.
  • There's no website or phone number listed, so it's a bit tricky to check things out or make plans in advance – you'd have to just pop by and see.

Came to Bridlington to have fun and make happy memories. As l was looking at the menu even before going onto the beach the owner informed us he was doing fish and chips today. Mouth was watering already. We asked if there was enough room for a party of 7 with me in my wheelchair. Nothing was too much to ask. He moved tables together and a chair out of the way. Plenty of choice for hungry people after a windy time at the beach. Mixture of families, couples, locals and tourists. No fuss about us covered in sand just a lovely welcome. The food was freshly prepared, and the fried eggs done to our request. As soon as customers left the cafe tables were emptied and cleaned without interrupting meals on other tables. We were asked if or meals were to our satisfaction. A polite cherrio on our way out even though they were busy. Will definitely go back. Prices very reasonable. There are menus on the table but prices are on the board outside as as well as having to factor in the rising cost of food the owner was constantly having to print out new menus and laminate them adding to costs. It wasn't a problem to go outside to check prices if needed. Thank you for a lovely meal ss a family.

Nice small breakfast. Ate everything. Pleasant service țho a little confusing how to queue. Food cooked to order. It was very tasty and we enjoyed it for our lunch. Good tea and coffee and enormous bakewell tart and delicious butter coated soft flapjack. Yum yum yum. Will definitely eat here again as its so handy for the beach, loos and parking. A nice day out as always and well away from the town if you want to be as we did.
