Papa Johns Pizza in Strood

We’ve always enjoyed Papa Johns Pizza. Had a slight technical hitch on the app, phoned the store & the honoured everything without any issue. We’ll continue to visit for our takeaway pizzas 🍕

I got scammed by this shop. This is the first time I have ever been scammed by a well known shop. I ordered a pizza and it came very late and cold, so I sent it back to the shop. The person in the shop said I would get refunded in 5 working days. It has now been 7 working days and still no refund. Did I just pay for a pizza for their team to eat ?? I will never be order from here again. Dominos or Pizza Hut would never scam their customers like this.

Warning! Read the reviews before ordering...i didn't. Having ordered from Papa John's Dartford for years i've never been disappointed, what an opposite experience I've had now. Having moved to the area I've tried Dominos and no issues. I then found out there was a Papa John's. The delivery was so slow. The app saying it was delivered but, no pizza. After an extortionately long period we called to find out where it was. We were told it will only be another 6 minutes however, pointed out it had been out for delivery for 25 mins and will likely be cold. We were offered to have a fresh order if it was cold and of course it was when it arrived. Being so late we didn't bother as we had no idea when it might turn up. Now the Pizzas. Checked with a digital thermometer at 23 degrees c. 3 degrees warmer than the kitchen. The wheat free pizza they couldn't even be bothered to cut. Just a Frisbee with pepperoni on it. As a minimum a Pizza should be hot and cut surely. Then the tata tots. I can't say they were any worse but, they seemed to be shown the oven and thrown in a box. Obviously stone cold because of the agonising wait for them. So I couldn't tell if they were very undercooked or just sweated and went cold. My advice, the manager needs to go to the Dartford store or to Dominos to understand how to run the franchise. Go to Dominos, Gravesend East if you want your food hot and at a reasonable time.

Took a chance and ordered from papa johns as it’s reopened under new management! Food was lovely! Staff was friendly and helpful and delivery time was as expected! Will be ordering again as it’s back to its high standard on food and service! Thanks

Several issues with this order!: 1. We ordered on 11/10/23 on the app at 14:00. The app said our order had been delivered to us at 14:39 but it had not been. I rang restaurant to ask where our food was and the man said it would be another 5/6 minutes. The order arrived at 14:55. The app is clearly inaccurate. 2. The female delivery driver handed over our food and said how much she liked the houses on our estate, she then asked how much our house cost and how many bedrooms we have…what the heck?! 3. We ordered the extra hot meat feast pizza which should have hot sauce drizzled on top to make it hot, but it had no hot sauce on so was not hot… 4. I rang the Papa Johns restaurant again to complain there was no hot sauce on our hot pizza and the man on the phone said he’d check with his manager then ring me back. Guess what, he never called back! Really dissatisfied with our experience yesterday.
