About This Pub
Ah, O'Malley's – it's one of those cosy Irish pubs that just draws you in with its warm atmosphere and that genuine sense of community. From what I've gathered from the chats online, the staff are absolute gems, always up for a laugh and making sure everyone feels included, whether you're there for a quick pint or to cheer on the team. The drinks are spot on too, with reasonable prices and some standout brews that have left a few folks chuffed to bits. It's especially ace if you're into your sports, as they've got the games playing everywhere. On the flip side, it does feel a bit like any other Irish spot you might've visited, so if you're after something truly one-of-a-kind, it might not quite hit the mark. Still, for a solid evening out without the fuss, it's a reliable choice that won't disappoint – I'd say give it a go if you're in the area, and you might just end up staying for another round!
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a chat that makes you feel right at home.
-
They've got a cracking selection of drinks at prices that won't break the bank, perfect for a casual night out.
-
The atmosphere is spot on – it's got that lively Irish vibe with football on the tellys, making it a brilliant spot for catching the game with mates.
-
Folks have raved about the quality of the pints, like the best Staropramen they've ever had, which is saying something!
Cons
-
It might not stand out as particularly unique compared to other Irish pubs around the country, feeling a bit standard in some ways.
-
The operating hours seem a tad confusing from what's listed, so it's worth double-checking to make sure it's open when you fancy popping in.

Irish bar which seems on a par with others I've visited around the country, decent offering of drinks at not bad price.
Friendly bar, good drinks, and football on loads of tellys. Lovely place for a pint
Gorgeous Irish pub with a fabulous atmosphere inside. We were served by a lovely bubbly non Irish lass, who informed us that the copious amount of vodka on rang behind the bar was the landlord's favourite tipple. I imagine it must be a right riot there at times, in true Irish fashion.
Great place to have a wee dram.
Wasn't keen on the huge TV screens, though. But in their defence, they were projector screens, and I doubt they are out on busy nights. I hope not, as I dislike screen pubs.
THE best ever pint of Staropramen I’ve ever had.
What a pub!
We travelled up from Aldershot for the football and despite losing thanks to all the team at OMalleys we were made to feel very welcome and had a great laugh with Sophie and her team!
Thanks for the Goodies, Parmo tips and the Forged Stout glass! See you next year for the fixture again we will be back !
