About This Pub

Ah, let me tell you about the Mist Rolling Inn – it's one of those unassuming spots in Nottingham that really grows on you once you step inside. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the staff are absolute stars; they're knowledgeable about their brews and always up for a bit of banter, which makes the whole experience feel warm and inviting. The beers and ciders are spot on, with prices that won't leave your wallet weeping, and they've nailed the music side of things – that sound system downstairs is something else, adding a real spark to the evenings. Throw in a heap of board games for some good old fun, and you've got yourself a proper cosy nook. On the flip side, it does tend to be on the quieter side sometimes, which might not suit if you're in the mood for a packed house and non-stop action. Plus, without a website, it's a bit of a faff to get the lowdown beforehand, and those operating hours look a touch erratic, so you'd want to double-check before heading out. All in all, it's a solid choice if you're after a genuine, down-to-earth pub with heart, and I'd say it's well worth supporting to keep places like this thriving in Nottingham.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, always ready with a smile and a chat that makes you feel right at home
  • They've got a cracking selection of beers and ciders at really affordable prices, perfect for a casual night out
  • The music setup is top-notch, with crisp sounds and live elements that really get the atmosphere buzzing
  • Loads of board games on offer, ideal for a laid-back evening with mates or even on your own
  • It's a cosy little spot with a great vibe, especially downstairs, making it a hidden gem in Nottingham
Cons
  • It can be a bit quiet at times, so if you're after a lively crowd, it might not always deliver that energetic feel
  • No official website means it's trickier to check out menus or events in advance
  • The opening hours seem a tad inconsistent based on what's listed, which could catch you out if you're planning a visit

It's a nice little place, but they specialise in their music amenities and it did not dissapont. The sounds were crisp and event exciting, I would go again

This place is now my favourite in Nottingham. Cheap pints, great atmosphere, nice people, friendly bar staff and next level sound engineering in the new venue below the bar. Less and less places like this exist every year in Nottingham - so catch it now and support live music/nice beer whilst it's fresh.

A lovely little pub. Good selection of beers and bar snacks. Was quiet when I visited, but still a friendly feel. Good place to pass some time with friends or alone, they also have lots of board/card games.

Great ciders, friendly staff, cheap prices and loads of board games. Plenty more seating downstairs. What's not to love?

Great little boozer on Derby Road. Used to be the 'Room with a Brew', then 'the Good, the Bad & the Drunk'. Good selection of beers and ciders, decent prices for town and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Big shout out to the fabulous Fran who greets you with a big smile and makes you feel most welcome every visit. Not tried the food yet, but it looks great !! Many thanks
