Cracking Irish bar just off Matthew St, as alot of the places afternoon happy hours, went for Irish breakfast!! Woaaah!
We visited this bar as part of our wedding anniversary celebrations, the atmosphere in the bar was great. We watched two live artists and we really loved the music. It was great for a Thursday evening. There was plenty of room for dancing or sitting at the tables. The drinks were reasonably priced, I especially enjoyed the smoky Irish whisky.
Very good pint of Guinness. £4 during the day on Happy Hour. Live music on pretty much throughout the day. Plenty of tv screens - I’ve showing Sky Sports News, the other live sport on another Sky channel. Very good Irish breakfast menu but doesn’t open till 10am.

It is an amazing place to have a drink whilst listening to live music!
The atmosphere was cheerful as there was a football game going on and it allowed us to experience the true spirit of Liverpool.

This was the meeting point for the Bayer 04 Leverkusen fans ahead of our Champions League match against Liverpool back in November 2024. By late afternoon the place was teeming with singing fans who had long since spilled out onto the street outside. This place is certainly big and they were doing a roaring trade in beer and food. I appreciated the good nature of the staff and bouncers and all went smoothly until we began our long march up to Anfield. All good.
