About This Pub

Ah, Lucky 8 Rock N Blues Bar – what a gem it is for us lot who fancy a bit of live music and a pint in a proper community spot. From what I've gathered from the buzz around, it's got this fantastic energy that's all about rock and blues, with gigs that pull people together and make you feel like you're part of something special. The staff are absolute stars, always up for a chat and making sure you're looked after, and the drinks are reasonably priced with plenty of options to keep things interesting. It's clean as a whistle too, which is no small thing in a lively bar. But, let's be straight, it's not without its downsides – the opening times are a tad restrictive, only four days a week and often wrapping up early, so you might have to plan around that. Plus, if rock isn't your cup of tea, it could feel a bit one-track, and with it currently listed as closed, it's probably wise to double-check before heading out. Overall, though, it's a solid choice for a good night if you're in the mood for something authentic and fun in Chorley.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • It's a brilliant spot for anyone who loves rock and blues music, with live gigs that really bring the community together.
  • The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming and friendly, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in.
  • Prices are spot on – reasonable and with a great selection of beers and drinks to choose from.
  • The place is spotlessly clean and well looked after, right down to the toilets, which is always a plus.
  • Staff are top-notch, always making everyone feel welcome, whether you're a regular or just popping in.
Cons
  • It only opens four days a week, which might make it tricky to catch if you're planning a spontaneous night out.
  • The hours can be a bit limited, often closing early around 5 PM, so it's not ideal for late-night sessions.
  • It might not appeal to those who aren't into rock and blues – it's quite niche, so if that's not your thing, you could feel out of place.
  • With the current status showing it's closed, it might be worth checking ahead to avoid disappointment.

A great little bar if you like blues and rock. Played a few gigs here too and has a nice community feel about the place. It's well kept, toilet is clean and the place is generally well looked after.

Best bar in all of Chorley!! Great range of drinks at great prices and an excellent atmosphere. Been coming here since the night it opened and have always been made to feel welcome. The look of this place is a rockers dream, there's so many cool things dotted all over the walls (the beer keg urinal is an excellent invention!). They get plenty of good bands on, which considering the size of the pub is an amazing effort, all in all a cracking night out🤘
