About This Pub
Ah, Lost in Leith – what a gem of a spot in Edinburgh's Leith area! From what I've gathered from the reviews, it's got this really inviting feel, with a fantastic array of beers that cater to all tastes, including some brilliant Belgian ones that had one visitor absolutely thrilled. The staff stand out as well; they're chatty and helpful, always up for recommending something new or letting you sample a few options. Whether you're settling in at one of the cosy indoor spots or grabbing a table outside by the quay, the atmosphere is just spot on for unwinding after a day out. It's got a solid 4.6 rating from folks who've been there, which speaks volumes about the good times had. On the flip side, it's not slap bang in the middle of everything, so you might need to plan a little extra walk if you're bar-hopping, and it can be quieter than expected, which is great for a proper natter but less so if you're craving a packed house. All in all, I'd say it's well worth a visit for anyone who fancies a proper pint in a welcoming setting – just keep in mind it might not be the place for a big meal or a wild night out.
Pros and Cons
Pros
-
The beer selection is absolutely brilliant, with a fantastic range including Belgian brews that really hit the spot.
-
The staff are so friendly and knowledgeable – they'll chat about the drinks and even let you taste a few to find your favourite.
-
It's got a lovely, cosy atmosphere inside, with great vibes that make you feel right at home, and there's outdoor seating in a prime spot by the quay.
-
Plenty of options for seating, both indoors and out, making it a relaxing spot for a pint or even a whisky flight from the local area.
Cons
-
It's a bit tucked away, so you might have to make a small detour if you're hopping between other spots in the area.
-
It can be quiet at times, which is nice for a chat but might not always deliver that buzzing energy if you're after a lively crowd.
-
Food options aren't mentioned much in the feedback, so it might not be the go-to place if you're looking for a full meal alongside your drinks.

First time there, they had Belgian beers so I was thrilled! Good atmosphere and options for drinks. I didn't try the food. The staff was friendly. There are tables outside which is great.
A very cosy and cool looking bar, great selection of beers. Amazing location, and the inside is just ✨
Lost in Leith is a great beer / bar and was a relaxing stop on our trip to the area. There were plenty of options on tap and great seating indoors and outdoors. Would come back!
This place was a great find! Bartender was so friendly, talked about the place and let me taste different beers to see what I would like. They also have a nice whisky flight from the local area. There’s also an outdoor seating area on the path of the commercial quay. Great vibes, drinks, and times!
Great little bar in a vaulted room. This bar is all about the beer. Good selection and the bar person knew her stuff.
Not that busy when we were in but I bet it does get busy in the evening.
Not that near to other pubs and bars you have to make a little detour to visit. I'd say make the detour, it's worth it.
