About This Pub
Ah, Left Handed Giant Brewpub – what a lovely find in the heart of Bristol! I've got to say, it's one of those places that just warms you up from the get-go with its incredible beers; they're fresh, flavoursome, and there's something for everyone, whether you're after a light lager or a rich stout. The pizzas are another highlight – think crispy bases loaded with toppings, and it's brilliant that they've got plenty of meat-free choices to keep things inclusive. Spreading over multiple floors, it's got this great mix of cosy nooks and open areas, plus that upstairs games room with darts and pool adds a fun twist to the night without feeling too rowdy. The brewery tours are a personal favourite; it's fascinating to hear about their history and how they crowdfunded the place, making you feel part of something special. On the flip side, it does get mobbed at times, so if you're not keen on queues or standing about, you might want to plan ahead or pop in midweek. And without the ability to reserve a table, it's a bit of a free-for-all, which can be a minor hassle on busier evenings. All in all, though, it's a solid choice for a relaxed pint or a full night out – I'd definitely recommend giving it a go if you're in the area, as the positives far outweigh the little niggles.

Cons
-
It can get pretty packed, especially on weekends, so you might end up waiting around for a seat.

No option to book tables means it's all about getting there early or taking your chances.
-
The kitchen hours seem a bit patchy on quieter days, which could leave you hankering for food when it's not available.

Incredible beers, incredible space, incredible pizzas! We came here to pass the time before leaving Bristol, and we almost could not leave because of how amazing the experience was! True heaven for any beer lover.
This place was great — across three floors, with their own line of merch and a line of deliciously beers to boot.
Upstairs with pool and darts was fun, especially on bank holiday weekend!
Went on Saturday lunch time for the Brewery Tour. Great tour round the back Brewery and a good tasting. Even better than most tours I've done you get to choose which beers you get.
Then after we had lunch the Bits and pieces pizza and a great 2/3 pint of stout was excellent.
I can't wait to get back to Bristol and the Left Handed Giant
Great brewpub. Spread over multiple floors so is much larger than it seems. Didn't eat but has a great selection of veggie/vegan pizzas. Beer selection was also great with plenty of options for those who don't want beer
A very popular place right opposite castle park, at the centre of bristol city. With a large outside seating space and a full three storey inside seating, it is one of the largest pubs in the area. It has great pizza and side options, and is unique in the fact that all the food they serve is vegetarian but absolutely lovely. A unique selling point is that it is a brewery, and you can see some of the processes. As such it has a changing variety of very diverse beers, ciders and ales. The third floor also has a games area and has a young vibe. Altogether a very busy and vibrant place specially on the weekends.
