Kings Head in Bristol

I have to say, it's one of those places that just captures the essence of a traditional British pub while keeping things fresh with its wide array of craft beers and historical charm. You can really feel the history in the air, especially with features like the tramcar saloon, and it's clear the folks behind it, including Good Chemistry brewery, have put in the effort to preserve that. The beer selection is spot on, with plenty of variety from top breweries, and those little extras like cheese rolls make it even more inviting for a relaxed afternoon or evening. On the flip side, it's a card-only setup, which might not suit everyone, and without a website, you might end up winging it on the opening times. Still, with such high praise from recent visitors and that solid 4.4 rating overall, it's well worth popping in if you're nearby – you'd be hard-pressed not to enjoy yourself!
