About This Pub
Ah, the Bridge Inn – it's one of those places that just feels like a proper local haunt, tucked away in Bristol and not overrun with the usual hustle. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, folks really rave about the welcoming atmosphere; it's cosy as can be, with friendly staff who make you feel right at home, whether you're popping in for a pint or a bite. The selection of local beers and ciders is spot on, and at affordable prices too, which is always a win for us lot who appreciate a good value round. Plus, the pub grub gets a thumbs up for being tasty and straightforward – think hearty toasted sandwiches that pair perfectly with a cold one. And on a nice day, grabbing a seat outside is an absolute treat, away from the main drag. On the other hand, it's not without its quirks; the space inside is quite tight, so if it's a busy night, you might end up elbow-to-elbow, which isn't ideal for everyone. Oh, and a few mentions of slower service mean it might not be the quickest stop if you're in a rush. All in all, it's a solid choice for a genuine, unpretentious night out – I'd say give it a go if you're after that authentic pub experience, but keep in mind it shines best on quieter evenings.

Amazing atmosphere, cosy pub, super friendly bar staff. Good prices and a good selection of local beers and ciders. Recommended on a cold night and also in the summer..
This is a genuine hidden gem!
Not many tourist people use to walk throughout this side of the river, so it's not a crowded place to have a drink.
Inside is a classic pub, outside (in summertime) you could have a seat on the benches beside the street.
Very friendly pub selling some very good beers and good value pub food. Has a few tables out front for sunny days.
Probably my favourite pub in the city centre.
It feels quite tucked away but it's only 5 minutes from the centre. An oasis of humanity on the edge of Bristol's grim shopping 'quarter'. And a good stop off if you're heading from Castle Park to Old Market.
Small traditional style pub, which surprisingly serves some excellent German Pilsners! Very small inside and not a lot of room to move around, but a nice cosy place to be in. There is seating outside for the warmer weather and food is also served here.
Cosy Quirky little bar with great toasted sandwiches and brunch dishes from £5. Delicious ham and cheese on sourdough! But slow service.
