About This Pub
You know, when I think about the Lamb Hotel, it really warms my heart – it's one of those classic pubs that feels like a step back in time, with its Grade II listed Edwardian building full of original touches like tiled walls and polished brass that give it so much personality. The beers are an absolute highlight; they've won awards for their real ales, and it's clear why, as they're served up in top form, making it a go-to for anyone who loves a proper pint. The staff are just lovely, always making you feel welcome, and there's plenty to keep things entertaining, whether it's live music in the function room or a game of pool with mates. They've got some cracking deals too, like their Fizz Friday offers, which add a bit of extra cheer without breaking the bank. On the downside, though, if you're hoping for an early start or something beyond the usual pub fare like a meat and potato pie, it might not quite hit the mark, and depending on where you're coming from, the location in Eccles could mean a bit of a trek. All in all, it's a smashing spot for a traditional pub experience – I'd say it's well worth seeking out if you're in the area and fancy a pint in a place with real soul.

Lovely place to be! Was here easter Sunday to cover for their karaoke jockey! Staff very lovely! Can't wait to go back!
I recently visited The Lamb Hotel, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience deserving of five stars! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing excellent customer service that made me feel right at home. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the recent renovations have truly transformed the space, blending modern touches with its classic charm. The beer garden is a standout feature—it’s beautifully landscaped and perfect for relaxing with friends. The drinks were top-notch, with a great selection of cask ales, lagers, and spirits, all served to perfection. Overall, The Lamb Hotel combines amazing service, a lively yet cozy vibe, and stunning updates that make it a must-visit spot. I can’t wait to return!
Visited this lunchtime on my first visit to Eccles.Beautifull Edwardian pub, stunning ceramic tiles, fine woodwork and etched glass.A real credit to Holts.Nice staff, good bitter and mild and a very nice meat and potato pie.Friendly locals a real pleasure to visit
Listed grand ll. Bar+ 3 rooms all in good condition. Hardwood. Green tiles. Engraved glass .look at heating pipes underneath the seating. Good beer and staff.
This is a classic pub, and now a very rare building. Without support it would be a travesty to loose this original style public house. All credit to the Holts Brewery currently! At the Eccles tram stop just visit! Cask beer superb ( full bar range)
