About This Pub

Ah, Ladygrove, it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local gem in Didcot, you know? I've got to say, it's brilliant for popping in with friends for a few pints or a hearty meal – the roast dinners are absolute winners, with fresh veg, crispy Yorkshires, and all the trimmings that leave you satisfied. The menu's got a great mix too, from classic pub grub to pizzas and grills, and they're always running offers like 30% off mains, which makes it even more appealing for a budget-friendly night out. That beer garden by the canal is a real treat when the weather's nice, ideal for soaking up the sun with a cold drink in hand. And the staff? Most of the time, they're cheerful and helpful, going the extra mile to make sure you're looked after. But, fair's fair, it's not all perfect – I've heard a few grumbles about service slipping up with long waits for food, which can put a dampener on things if you're in a rush. Overall, though, it's a solid spot for creating good memories, whether you're there for a casual drink, watching the footie, or enjoying a family gathering. If you're in the area, I'd definitely give it a go – just maybe plan for a relaxed pace!

Very welcoming pub , staff were all great . We had a lovely roast dinner . Both myself and partner had the turkey roast which was very tasty. All fresh vegetables, roast and mash potatoe . Beautiful Yorkshire puddings plus pig in blanket and a stuffing ball. Food came out very quick and was all very hot . The prices of food are great . Will definitely be going back .

We popped in because we didn't fancy cooking, and really glad we did. Great value food and drink, and a really easy app to order food. Zero complaints. Special mention for Becca our waitress, she was fantastic and a real credit to the restaurant. Friendly, happy, and incredibly helpful. Our chefs were TJ and Matty, so many to them also because everything was how we wanted it.

Sunday lunch at Ladygrove in Didcot is a great experience. It wasnt too busy, so as there were only 2 of us, we were able to find a nice table without a reservation. We ordered online, which was straightforward, and drinks arrived really quickly. The staff were very friendly, and came to check how I would like the beef, rare or well done, and when the food arrived it was plentiful and of good quality. It was freshly prepared, and nice and hot. Great value for food and drink, in a nice atmosphere

The food was amazing. Shame it was let down by the absolutely abysmal service and ridiculously long food wait times. Our starters came out really quickly so we were then incredibly frustrated and disappointed when it was an hour wait between that and the main meals coming out. Tables of similar amounts of people that had been seated well after us got their food well before us. It wasn't until we went to chase up the food as we had a very upset 2 year old that we were told that they were very busy and wait times were longer than expected. By the time the mains had come out (almost an hour and a half after we had originally ordered), we were all hungry, tired and fairly irritated so we ended up just eating and leaving, despite our original plan to also order puddings. They also had the heating whacked up full so it was really hot, making it somewhat uncomfortable and frequent trips outside had to be taken to cool off. All in all not a great experience and the only saving grace was that the food was so delicious, when it finally actually came out.

Very nice Pub in Didcot. A lot of choice in the menu. We took burgers, hot dog and tikka masala. Everything was amazing! Real indian flavours on the curry, and very good burgers! Very recomendable, with parking , terras and fun zone with dards and pool. We come back!
