About This Pub
Oh, mate, if you're after a proper pub experience with a twist, Django's Smokehouse in Didcot is definitely worth a shout. From what I've gathered from the buzz around it, the food is just brilliant – we're talking slow-smoked BBQ that's packed with flavour, like those incredible burnt ends that folks rave about, and even some cracking vegetarian options that hold their own. The cocktails are a highlight too, especially with happy hour deals that make it feel like a cheeky treat without breaking the bank. The staff really shine through; they're attentive and friendly, making sure everything runs smoothly, whether you're popping in for a quick bite or hiring out the upstairs for a do. It's family-friendly with all the right touches, like accessibility and free Wi-Fi, so it's versatile for different groups. On the flip side, it only opens five days a week, and there might be times it's closed, so planning ahead is key to avoid a letdown. Overall, it's a solid choice for anyone in the area looking for quality grub and a relaxed atmosphere – I'd say give it a go if you're nearby, you won't regret it!

Beautiful food. Me and my partner shared 3 small plates and then had a burger as well. Everything was delicious and well cooked and flavoured.
Burnt ends were incredible!!!!!
Service was also 10/10, Ryan was attentive throughout, couldn’t fault him.
We hired out the upstairs for a private function and the staff were brilliant, they were extremely accommodating. From the emails to the bar staff, brilliant service, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you so much, we will definitely be back and using their services again.
Absolutely delicious! This was my first time at Django's and I will definitely be back. Cocktails (at Happy Hour prices too - bonus!) were so tasty, and expertly prepared by a super friendly Ryan. And Vicky, our waitress, was very polite, and knowledgeable regarding our queries on the menu. The food was amazing - the meat was tender and flavourful, the fries were crispy but not tough and seasoned well, and the mac and cheese was peppery and had the right balance of cheese sauce to pasta - it was just all so yum! Highly recommend.
Restaurant with two seating areas on ground and first floor, both with a bar area. Kitchen is at the back on the ground floor with service window looking into the main restaurant area. Toilets situated upstairs.
Service was quick, food also came quickly. Burnt ends are a must to order, absolutely delicious. Main was 2 seasoned chicken legs on the bone (would have liked this specified that it would be served on the bone). One was perfectly cooked and the other very dry so quality was unfortunately variable. Loaded fries tasty but not enough of them compared to the meat on offer, portion was far too small. Food was very enjoyable despite those smaller niggles.
Cocktails without alcohol are always unfairly expensive but the cocktails with alcohol were well delivered and a good range of drinks on offer.
Regular deals throughout the week, lots of offers to take advantage of and worth researching before you go.
Overall a good night out and I'd go back again!
I visited djangos today for the first time and I am so impressed! Was greeted immediately, drinks and food were ordered and arrived in excellent time, but not too much pressure to be ready to order, excellent music and atmosphere. Ryan and Quinn really stood out to me so thank you to them for their kind hospitality.
Big shout out to the chefs too for the absolutely delicious food! 10/10 will definitely come back!!!
