About This Pub
Ah, Jono's of Ealing – it's one of those neighbourhood pubs that really pulls you in with its charm. I've heard from folks who've made it their go-to for a year now, raving about the social nights and how the bar staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome; it's that kind of place where you pop in for a quick pint and end up staying for the craic. The bingo on Sundays sounds like a right laugh, and there's something special about sinking a Guinness while listening to traditional tunes that transport you back in time. On the flip side, though, it's not all perfect – a mate mentioned it felt a tad stuffy and the interiors weren't quite up to scratch, leaving them a bit let down on a visit. Still, with its solid reputation and that authentic Irish twist mixed with local vibes, I'd say it's worth checking out if you're after a relaxed evening, just maybe pick a cooler day to avoid any discomfort. All in all, it's a gem in Ealing that does the basics brilliantly, but like any spot, it has its off moments.
Pros and Cons
Pros

The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating, like James the barman who's always a delight and makes you feel right at home.
-
It's got a fantastic social vibe with events like bingo nights that are an absolute blast and bring everyone together.
-
You can enjoy a proper pint of good beer in a relaxed, authentic Irish atmosphere that feels both traditional and welcoming.
-
Live traditional music sessions add a lovely touch, evoking memories and creating a cosy, nostalgic feel.
Cons
-
The atmosphere can sometimes feel a bit disappointing, with interiors that might not live up to expectations and a general vibe that's off on certain days.
-
It can get too hot and muggy inside, which puts a damper on things, especially on warmer afternoons.

It’s been our local for a year, absolutely love the social nights. James the barman is so accommodating and is an absolute charm. We drop by every Sunday for bingo as it’s the an absolute blast.
I wholeheartedly recommend visiting this comfy and hospitable pub. The staff, the management, the ambiance, everything combines to create an authentic Irish, as well as local experience. If you’re looking for a pint of good beer, relaxed atmosphere, along with patient and flexible service, this is the place to go.
Enjoyed a nice pint of Guinness, with an enjoyable traditional group playing. No amps or other equipment, just 3 guys playing and swinging in the traditional way. So good and brought back memories of times gone past.
Keep it up Johno's, well done.
I’ve been waiting for the re-opening of this pub since I was living in Ealing Common in 2021 as I love the idea of a local pub for an area that hasn’t have any. Came here on Sunday afternoon. Disappointed by the atmosphere, the interiors and the general vibe. Bit too hot and muggy. The guy at the bar wasn’t very ‘Irish’ in the attitude. 3 stars because I do hope it will stay open for a long time.
This place is a laugh, sitting across the toad today and I remembered the good time I had there last year or so with my pal who introduced me to it. Great staff, and atmosphere, money and time well spent there. Highly recommended. Had to review!
