But, let's be honest, it's not flawless – if you're getting it delivered, it tends to arrive a bit cold, which is a shame because it doesn't do justice to how tasty it is fresh. Still, overall, I'd recommend giving it a go; it's got that warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home, and from the buzz around it, plenty of folks agree it's a winner for a simple, enjoyable night out.

The pizza here is an absolute delight – fresh, tasty, and with that perfect crispy base that keeps you coming back for more.
They've got a lovely little bar with a great selection of beers, including a cracking Pale Ale, making it a top spot for a casual drink.
It's affordably priced, so you won't break the bank, and the option to customise your pizza adds a fun twist to your meal.
The atmosphere is spot on, with a welcoming vibe and a terrace that's perfect for enjoying a warm evening outside.
They're open seven days a week with generous hours, from early morning right through to late, so it's easy to pop in whenever suits.

Cons

One downside is that if you're ordering delivery, the pizza often arrives cold, which takes away from that fresh-out-the-oven magic.
From what I've seen, it's more focused on pizza and quick eats, so if you're after a full-on pub experience with hearty meals, it might not quite hit the mark.

It is my favourite pizzeria in London. I tried other places but they are never as tasty as Base. I'm usually ordering via Deliveroo and my only issue is that the pizza always (ALWAYS) arrives cold. But I'm still giving 5 stars because it's not your fault. Overall the food is very tasty, a bit dangerously tasty....

My local pizza place which also has a small bar with a good selection of beer including a Pale Ale. Despite always going, this is my first review. From having a beer and snack and in the evening sat outside on the terrace on a warm night, to pizza dinner with the kids, to mid week lunch with my parents or weekend brunch, this is a great choice in the local area. Food is delicious and staff are friendly and welcoming. Bonus is the great coffee and cakes, sandwichs and pasta and a brunch menu which means it is not just a typical pizza place! Highly recommend is their mid week lunch deal of any pizza and a half pint or soft drink for only £10!

Lovely little pizza place and cafe/diner. This visit I only had a latte. So I can’t rate the food. But good service and atmosphere. I shall try some pizza 🍕 next time I’m in that area.

I recently visited a pizzeria that surprised me with its unique offer. The pizza I ordered was excellent - thin, crispy dough, fresh ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors. It's a real feast for the palate! But that's not all - for dessert I was tempted by their homemade waffles , which was simply sensational! Creamy, delicate and simply melting in your mouth. And to top it off, great drinks that went great with the whole meal. The service was very nice and helpful, which additionally made my visit more pleasant. I definitely recommend this pizzeria to anyone looking for not only delicious pizza, but also great food in a nice atmosphere!
