About This Pub
Ah, the Inn on the Green – it's one of those pubs that just feels like a proper local hideaway in Bristol, you know? From what I've gathered from folks who've been, it's got this warm, country-style charm that's spot on for a relaxed lunch or a cosy evening. The food really shines; think well-cooked roasts with crispy crackling and tasty gravy, plus a solid menu that caters to all sorts, including vegan and gluten-free options – it's clear they put effort into making everyone feel included. And the drinks selection is brilliant, with heaps of real ales and ciders that make it a go-to for a proper pint. The beer garden is another highlight, offering that fresh-air vibe with parasols and good company on a nice day. On the downside, it's not without its flaws – some have mentioned waits for food that drag on a bit, and there've been a few slip-ups like a missing side or two, which can put a dampener on things. Still, the friendly staff more than make up for it, and with such high ratings from regulars, it's well worth a visit if you're after a welcoming spot to unwind. All in all, it's a solid choice for a laid-back outing, just maybe give yourself a bit of extra time.

Last minute choice for my dad's birthday, can't recommend enough.
Food was good quality, well presented and cooked nicely.
Staff are very friendly, welcoming and always happy to help and made sure we had everything needed while we was there.
I have lived round the corner from here for years, drive by nearly every day and have never been in!!! What a little gem, will definitely be my first choice if wanting to stay local.
Absolutely brilliant experience visiting In. On the Green!
First time visiting, and was very impressed with the everything! Great selection of drinks, more than enough on the menu to select a great meal, my friends and I literally ordered 12 small plates 😂😝
With several drinks each, a bottle of wine, several soft drinks the bill was incredibly reasonable and great value!
The staff were also very helpful and friendly.
Would absolutely visit again!
Visited for lunch with a team of 7 and they were able to sort us out a late booking. Lots of burgers ordered, and they were pretty good with plenty of fries. Only downside was it felt like a long time to come out when it wasn’t busy. Service was friendly and no mistakes with the order. £138 for 7 people is very good value, too. I’d visit again for sure.
Nice roast dinner and very reasonably priced! Crackling was super crispy and gravy was super tasty!
Only negative was the menu said it includes cauliflower cheese, however just had cheese sauce on my plate - no cauliflower! Otherwise decent roast dinner!
Really wonderful pub with excellent service, a fantastic range of drinks and some good food.
The pub itself is quite far away from other places, but well worth a visit. A huge range of ciders and beers on tap - about 6 ciders!!! The pub is spacious with plenty of seating and booths and bigger tables for large groups.
The food here is pretty good pub stuff - nothing to go crazy about but above average for pub grub.
Would highly recommend for a nice evening of drinks!
