About This Pub

You know, I've been chatting about the Inn on the Corner with a few mates, and it's got this real charm as a local bar in Paisley – the staff are just lovely, always up for a bit of banter and making newcomers feel like they're part of the gang. The music side of things is spot on, with live bands and karaoke that turn it into a proper fun night, especially on Sundays or during those open mic evenings. It's spacious too, with that classic wood furniture that makes it feel like a proper old-school haunt where you can kick back with a pint. On the downside, there have been times when drinks weren't quite right, like a dodgy Guinness that threw someone off, and it can be a tad too subdued on weekdays if you're hoping for more of a lively crowd. All in all, it's a solid choice for a relaxed evening or a singalong, but it's worth popping in when there's an event on to get the full experience – honest, it's got that balance of good times and a few quirks that make it feel real.

Pros and Cons

Pros
  • The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in
  • There's a brilliant atmosphere with great music, live bands, and awesome karaoke nights that really get the energy going
  • The bar is spacious and cosy, with lovely old wood furniture that gives it a traditional, comforting feel
  • It's got a good selection of drinks at reasonable prices, like a solid pint of Tennants for around £3.80
Cons
  • Drinks can occasionally be off, such as the Guinness in one instance, which might leave you a bit disappointed
  • It tends to be quite quiet on weekdays, so if you're after a lively buzz, it might not hit the spot every time
  • Live events like bands can get very loud, which is exciting but could feel overwhelming if you're in the mood for a chat

Very loud live band but not a criticism. Bar staff were excellent. And karaoke is also available and good.

Barmaid was really nice and friendly, made some good small talk and poured a good pint. Explained the Guinness was off an apologised. £3.80 for a Tennants. Tastes a little off, but the pint is very fizzy so maybe it’s the line? Nice old bar and wood furniture which is always good.
