About This Pub
You know, when I think about Hideout in Belfast, it really stands out as one of those unpretentious spots that captures the heart of a good pub. With an overall rating pushing 4.6, it's clear folks are loving the place for its fabulous craic and the way the staff and regulars make you feel welcome, whether you're a local or just popping in for a visit. The food's spot on too, and that beer garden is just the ticket on a sunny day for kicking back with mates. On the flip side, it's not without its drawbacks – the drink selection feels a bit narrow, and the loyalist-themed decor might put off anyone who's not keen on that sort of thing, as one reviewer mentioned it being a small, niche bar. Plus, it can be quiet when you fancy a bit more energy. All in all, if you're after a relaxed chat and a genuine welcome, it's worth checking out, but it might not be everyone's cup of tea.

Fabulous Craic and a great bunch of people
Brilliant atmosphere, delicious food and a great staff.
On holiday in Belfast this was the nearest pub to where we stayed. What a pleasant surprise. The locals and staff made us all really welcome, we'll definitely go back there on our next visit.
This is a small loyalist bar with plenty of union jack flags and UDF memorials inside. The range of drinks is fairly limited but the service was friendly. When we visited it was pretty quiet (3-4 customers).
Despite the paraphernalia (and Michael Hinney's comments below) we had no trouble - but being Australian may have helped.
Friendly pub both staff and customers alike. Had some entertaining lunch times in here when working nearby. Always a character, always a story. As good a bar as you will get in Belfast. Sun out? Hideout beer garden! TV / jukebox available but best to just sit, relax, chat and enjoy the craic.
